I wanted to try a new place and saw an ad on Save magazine. What an amazing surprise! This is the kind of seafood you eat by... hand I have been craving for a while. We ordered shrimps and crab legs in garlic butter flavor. Come with corn, potato andsausage. Absolutely delicious! Everyone enjoyed it, even my kids who are not crazy about seafood. Fried baskets are also goodfor someone who don't want to get their hands dirty. The food was so good that we didn't want to leave and definitely will comeback. Where do I start? The food was amazing and somehow I knew it would be amazing before I tasted it. How? The staff was extremely... friendly and timely, ensuring your order is accurate. They are not just throwing it together and sending you away. They knowyou'll be back so they put so much TLC into it you can tell. I will always be back with that pricing and level of service. We got here and it looks unassuming but this was THE BEST service and seafood I?ve ever had. My boyfriend and I both shared the... snow crab dinner and hibachi steak dinner and it was amazing. That being said, the service alone was unmatched. The woman thatserved us offered so much help with the menu, and even offered to take a photo! Stopped today for lunch with my daughter. Staff was very warm and welcoming. We had chicken hibachi and the steamed crab legs. ... Both were amazing! My daughter said they were the BEST crab legs she had ever had from South Carolina to Canada! Our server wasexcellent, food was amazing. We can?t wait to return! This is my second time eating here. The first time I had the steak and shrimp hibachi. It was okay, but I wasn?t a fan. This... time I ordered the lunch boil with mild garlic butter snow crab and shrimp for $23. In my bag were two small clusters, a niceamount of medium shrimp, three red skin potatoes to sub for the sausage, and half an ear of slightly overcooked corn. The amountof food I received for that price was not bad at all. While the taste was good, I don?t think I am a fan of the spice mixbecause it makes the sauce too salty. The lady who took my order over the phone was really nice and very helpful once I told herthat I couldn?t have gluten. I?ll definitely be back for another boil without the spice mix! Read more
Found this place online as we are from the Jackson area and glad I read reviews first. To start off it is a very small... restaurant, so to be on the safe side we made reservations online using Google. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, theyeven gave us an order of Cajun fried chicken for free since it was our first time there which was very nice! We ordered theseafood boil (in the bag) which had crawfish, crab legs, sausage, shrimp, potatoes and corn. For the quality, amount of food youget and the price you can?t beat it. We will be back!!! We were in the area to see a movie and needed someplace to have lunch beforehand. There are so many chains in the area and none... of them sounded appetizing. Just as we were about to give in to some big box joint we drove past the ultimate strip mall and sawthe menu for JJ Crab House in their window. The snow crab drew us in immediately. The space is immaculately clean and there area few tables that allow you to dine in. They also offer carry out but we chose to eat lunch there. We both ordered the crab andshrimp boil and I have a hard time describing just how delicious it was. If we had more time we'd have likely ordered a few moreitems. It's the kind of place where you should come and take your time working through a boil and some other menu items. Thestaff (owners) are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The service was top-notch and they were very helpful in giving ussuggestions on how to best enjoy the dishes. Apart from the stellar seafood boil options they also offer a whole hibachi menuwhich sounded very tempting. We left completely satisfied and we're already planning out next trip. If you're in the area, thisis the place to be. Mouthwatering seafood boils in a friendly, clean establishment. Not much more you can ask for while diningout. Price point was very fair for the amount of food you receive. Can't wait to try all of the other items we missed out onyesterday...in the near future. Read more
I can?t say enough good things about this place. Honestly such a hole in the wall place and I?m so glad that we decided to stop... in after reading the reviews. Delicious food beyond compare! My boyfriend and I have literally not stopped talking about thefood and it?s been hours. We actually were contemplating going back at dinner time because it was that good. We live a couple ofhours away but we?ve already decided we?re coming back next weekend with our friends. Good food, amazing staff, and all at agreat price! Read more
