Food is absolutely delicious and fresh every time I eat there. It is hard to find a restaurant that has the ability to keep... consistency in the quality of their food, Pita Way definitely does. Great place for lunch. The couple that runs it are kind and welcoming. One time I forgot my wallet, and didn't realize it until... I'd already eaten. The owner was just going to let it go. We love Pita Way We have been coming here for several years. Even after moving away from Anderson, we always make sure to go to... Pita Way whenever we are in town. We are vegetarian, and in a small town dominated by Barbecue and fast food/chain restaurants,Pita Way is a breath of fresh air. The food is always hot and prepared just the way we like it. I love the hummus, and if you'venever tried the cauliflower wrap I recommend it. The cauliflower is fried but not breaded, and is deliciously savory. The veggiewrap is also a regular favorite. The building itself is a little unusual looking, but it's an open kitchen and you can see yourfood being prepared from start to finish in small, fresh batches. The owner is such a nice person. He's there most days byhimself taking the orders, cleaning the tables, AND cooking all the food. He does everything. He's not the most talkativeperson, but you can tell this restaurant and his customers mean a lot to him. Read more
