The bowls were always so generous with the poke, sauce and the vegetables were mainly romaine lettuce? nowadays the romaine... lettuce has turned to cabbage (which I can?t eat), you get more rice, and the ahi poke has been removed from the menu. Theregular poke doesn?t even touch the sides of the bowl anymore? prices have increased and yet the quality has gone down. I?mlooking into creating my own poke bowls so I can save money and eat poke the way I like it. I changed my review to 3 starsbecause I do want to support local businesses and I still like top bop. But I no longer can justify the price for what I?mgetting. 5 ?? review from 2019: I eat Top Bop 1-4 times a week! My usual order is Ahi Poke Bop with masago egg; with Thai teaand coffee jelly. The coffee jelly isn?t made from an extremely dark roast, nor a blond roast. It is somewhere in between; actsas a nice balancing flavor in the sweet Thai tea. Occasionally I?ll get the chocopie and/or spam musubi. The musubi has a niceratio between rice, spam and egg. Some places I?ve gotten musubi from put waaay too much rice for my taste, but it?s allpersonal preference. It?s always heated up for you before they hand it to you as well. The vegetable toppings are ALWAYS fresh.I?ve never had an issue with soggy or old vegetables. Read more

Watched an employee crack an egg with her bare, ungloved hands and then continue to prepare the rest our our food with her BARE,... UNGLOVED hands and didn?t even wash them. The employees in the back can be observed handing foods with NO gloves right afterbeing on their phones and touching their face. They are also going strait from using a mop and prepping food without usinggloves or washing hands. I witnessed an employee pick her nose and then immediately put her fingers into my food before servingit to me. NASTY!! The employees have obviously never been through a food handling course. Additionally, they will serve youstale rice and questionably old raw fish and meats. If I get food poisoning tonight I will be 100% blaming it on thisestablishment, and prosecuting. Read more

1st time ever going there. Got the spicy pork bop. Flavor was good although 90% of the pork was nothing but fat. So i really... only got rice and veggies and barely any eat worthy pork. Not really all that great. Hopefully something else on their menu willbe better the next time I decide to go there. Read more

Food wasn't ready at scheduled time, staff was not friendly, some how they managed to churn out luke warm food with the smallest... drizzle of sauce I've ever seen in my life. It made what is normally a delightful treat in our household into a chore to eat.Highlights; no whipped cream on Italian Soda, eggshell in fried egg upgrade, no sauce, & poor customer service. I love Top Bop, I usually go to Mid Town but now I live on South Side so I've been coming to this location more. This will... probably be my last time. Luckily my food had already been prepared but I just saw an employee put her fingers in her nose onher way over to the food prep table, without washing her hands or wearing gloves. If my food hadn't already been prepared bysomeone else I'd have asked for a refund and left. The food quality is great but the employees have really gone down hilllately and apparently so have the sanitation standards. Read more

It was our first night in Anchorage after a very long travel day and we wanted something hearty and reasonably healthy. I forgot... to photograph food as we were exhausted, but online order was filled correctly and promptly, staff was friendly, and food wasdelicious. Thank you! Read more

I have eaten at Top Bop before in the past and always had a great experience from the time I walk in til the time I walk... out. The food ingredients are always fresh and taste amazing. There are 3 locations here in Anchorage with plenty of parking anddinning. The price is pretty steep, I average between $20 and $26 with tip for my lunch but I always leave satisfied and happy. So who says money cannot buy happiness. There are 2 sizes of bowls to choose from, regular and large. The regular size is a goodchoice portion wise. Enjoy Read more
