This is a nice little place to sit down and have lunch or dinner. Great view of the lake.

Good food, about average price for a hotel restaurant (probably overpriced by 10-15%, but after a long day of travelling, is... acceptable). Service was exceptional the three times I/we ate here. Our waiter/waitress were all attentive, quick to refill anempty glass, and the kitchen was quick to get our orders out. The food was prepared reasonably well with one exception: the fishand chips were unusually greasy to the extent it really took away from the meal. The breakfast meals were great (I was travelingwith a party, so we each got a different meal, no complaints to be had). The chicken Caesar wrap was very good, plenty ofchicken and the Caesar dressing was not overpowering. In closing, I hope your dining experience is as good as mine was duringour stay. Read more

Pretty awful, especially for Alaska standards. To be fair, I just had an old fashioned. It was made with granulated sugar and... served with regular ice cubes. The part that really made the experience lacking is that the glass was absolutely covered withgrenadine syrup and when I asked for a new glass because it was sticky, the new one was, too. I did get the smoked salmon pateappetizer, which was good, not great, but nothing to complain about. Read more

I came here with my husband while visiting beautiful Alaska, wanting a waterfront dinner. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 drinks.... The drinks were pretty good, but for $18 we got a shrimp cocktail that consisted of 6 pieces of shrimp in a wine glass full ofmixed greens with hardly any cocktail sauce. At nearly $3 for each piece of shrimp we expected it to be amazing, but it honestlydidn't taste completely fresh and one of the shrimp was not fully cleaned and we had to pull the Intestines out beforeeating. Overall. This restaurant is overpriced if you were expecting good waterfront food. Read more

I came for dessert and cocktails. The berry cosmo wasn?t even drinkable and the old fashion was off. The berry cobbler came out... like a berry soup with a scoop of ice cream. It had almost no crumble at all. I thought i would get a plain coffee before I leftand o couldn?t even drink it, it had so many coffee grounds in it. Luckily it came in a clear mug so i could see the groundsbefore taking a sip. 0 stars if i could Read more

Well guys, this place is all about atmosphere and no hospitality!!!!! No signs for seating yourself or wait to be seated in plan... view? we came in standing around for about 10 mins. Finally sat down just to be told we had one min to order food. Hell I couldof ordered the first 10 mins I was standing there. Then I asked for a drink and observed the manager at the bar tell my server Icouldn?t have one because it was 9:47 and they closed at 10! Even though I watched her pour not one, not two BUT THREE draftbeers for customers and staff. I walked out and told them Nevermind! Rude!!! Stuck up!!!! And Not welcoming at all! I give thisplace a zero star and huge thumbs down! Read more

This experience was a bit disappointing. I've always loved the location with its beautiful views of Lake Hood but this time the... views couldn't make up for the lackluster decor and average menu. We started with the crab and artichoke dip which came outhot... too hot-and burned the roof of my mouth. We also ordered burgers and fries. I was a little put off that the waitressdidn't ask how we like them cooked. She also didn't inform us of the specials, perhaps too busy to do so. Otherwise staff seemedpositive and genuine. When the burgers came out the buns looked like they'd been played with by a child before ending up on myplate hugging a raw-in-the-middle, well-done patty that looked like it had fake grill marks. The patty was tasteless, the baconwas crisp but not freshly cooked, and the fries were inconsistent. If I were invited back with friends I'd still go for a beerbut I'd make sure to eat dinner at home first. The place has aged poorly and feels more like a dive bar, unfortunately coming alittle too slow out of the gate as more restaurants try to put covid behind them. Hopefully they can do better with more time.I'll be back to review again, just not any time soon. Read more

The food was okay. But if you sit outside, you have a great view of the planes taking off and landing in the lake.
