The first time we have experienced Texas Roadhouse, the service was amazing, the food was excellent, to the point where we... decided to return. I wanted to see if it was just a one time type of service because they were already informed it was our firsttime and needed to be a lil extra?! N of course we enjoyed the food so much we just wanted to see if it would be the sameamazing taste. First time was excellent service, even though they were busy, they still managed to keep up with our refills andexplained or recommended dishes, & the food was more fresh tasting (just got off the grill, not just sitting and waiting to bedropped off at the table). Second time around, we sat inside, waiting to be called for our seats. One of the hostess, dirtyblonde with messy curls in a ponytail thought it was the perfect time to clean the window n blindfolds right next to me. Shejust hopped on the bench n started spraying and dusting away. I found it very rude and reminded myself that some people justhave no common sense, poor work ethic. Besides allowing her ignorance to ruin our second chance at Texas Roadhouse, our serverwas really nice and took her time to breathe, and ask us patiently what we would like to order. We didn't feel rushed or havingto ask her to repeat herself. The food was alright this time around and the drinks were definitely more potent than the firsttime. Regardless, I know not each time we will have the same experience. But seriously, work on your employees to understand thechemicals they could have been spraying into a person's eyes as they wait to dine in. Or the dust that could cause someone'sallergies to act up. We definitely plan on returning, it has been one of the best places to have a really good steak and drinksfor a good price. Catcus Blossom is highly recommended! No regrets! Read more
Food was fair. Service was slow despite low customer volume. I assume this was due to covid staffing issues. Had country... fried steak with loaded mashed potatoes and salad. Fried steak was a little over cooked and was completely covered in gravy. Gravy was ok. Mashed potatoes were served cold. Salad was fine. Family had herb crusted chicken that was just fair because itwas overcooked as well. Steak was cooked medium as ordered and potato was served cold with this plate as well. Child's mealincluded chicken fingers that were really good. Appetizer was rattlesnake bites, stuffed jalapenos with cheese, that were verytasty. Read more
Did a take out order. I wanted a chicken critter salad, my husband ordered 1/2 rack ribs and side salad. My salad in in the... black container is the same size as the side salad. I have ordered this salad before to go (and in the restaurant (taken halfhome) this is ridiculous. There has been numerous times that texas roadhouse has messed up an order, I can deal withovercooked/undercooked potatoes but how do you mess up a salad. Total waste of money and won't be going back. We were seated right away at 4:30 but got pretty busy even on a weeknight. They pick up the bread on the way to the table.... Monday night is kids night so $1.99 for kids meals. Although we didn't actually see that advertised anywhere. Good food,especially for the price. Did get really noisy. Also have us extra bread to take home.
