OMG, Saverio's is the best pizza ???? in Anchorage! We visited twice on our short stay in Anchorage, it was that good. The... pizza was delicious NY Style pizza. Very nice little quaint spot in a small strip mall. Friendly as could be. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a fair amount of... toppings and perfect amount of cheese. The crust was the best. Perfect amount of thickness with the right amount of chew.Outstanding dough recipe. Their sauce was not too spicy but tasty and clearly homemade. I'd go back here in a heartbeat. Truly disappointing lasagna. Insipid to the point of almost flavorless. The sauce tasted like it came from a #10 Sysco can. I've... had better frozen from the supermarket. Oh well... Edit: To be fair, I didn't actually see any canned sauce, the lasagna justtasted that way. I'd be willing to give their pizza a shot because it did look very good. You can't pass final judgment on aplace from one meal and the service was very friendly. Read more
Somewhat addicted... I've been there, or order from them five times in the past two weeks. Margarita pizza, and pepperoni are... amazing. I'm excited to try the other offerings they have. Mr. Saverio and his staff are courteous, friendly and attentive. It'sawesome to see a boss put in the work and effort it takes to be a boss. Read more
I dined in and I was greeted to friendly hosts! They all asked me if I needed anything which is very inviting to go back again.... I had the all meat pizza with sauce on top. Mmm you need to try that! Also ordered the bruchetta. Delicious! The to-go dessertwas pre-packaged and it was okay. Great environment to dine in, I can tell regulars come in and have a good time. Meatballs. Sausage & pepper sandwich and the two Alaskan beers. Fairly priced for anchorage and the food was by far top 5 since... I?ve been in AK. Little undercover place in a strip but I loved it and the sauce was very natural didn?t taste like any saltycanned stuff. 5/5 Read more
I have had Neapolitan Pizza at the Pizzeria da Michelle in Naples - Michelin rated. Saverio?s is as good or better. Not sure... how Moose?s Tooth gets more business?? This is better! This pizzeria was described as the best New York style pizza in Anchorage on a Facebook page, and so we had to try it out?. 100%... agree with the other fans! Super friendly staff, prompt service, comfortable atmosphere, and reasonable prices not to mentionthe pizza was absolutely phenomenal! I took my four kids here and we felt very comfortable and welcome which is always nice.Can?t wait to bring my husband back there! Read more
