Phew boy. Talk about COLD pressed. The snotty girl at the register basically threw my $10 bottle of juice at me and was so... dismissive. You need better training and a kinder staff if you are going to charge an ungodly amount for your product. Read more

We were specifically looking for a great, healthy smoothie for lunch. In our Google search we found this business with the... name, "pure and pressed juice" and assumed the product would be healthy and reasonably organic. We drove out of our way, tofind "Pure & Pressed Juice co." We sat on the provided bench for 20 minutes, in an empty restaurant, waiting for our $8 powersmoothie and $13 acía bowl. Eventually, I got off the bench to see what the delay was; that was when I saw that Skippy peanutbutter was being used in both the power smoothie and the acía bowl. I was shocked to find a commercially produced peanutbutter (with hydroginated fats and added sugar) added to my "pure & pressed" product. Knowledgeable, health consciousconsumers, never consider "Skippy" peanut butter as a "pure," natural peanut butter, in any sense of the word. That being said,my for year old son, prefers "Skippy" I asked the staff about using "Skippy." I was told, the owner polled; asking which peanutbutter they prefered, they preferred "Skippy," If I was ordering a smoothie from Walmart, I would expect Skippy and Hersheysyrup, in my "smoothie" for $5, vs $8 at "Pure & Pressed" I have been looking for a great, locally owned smoothie shop, to bemy go-to smoothie shop. Their açaí bowls are amazing; though it may take some time so I usually order for pick up! My first time was dining in and... the staffs didn?t have the ?energy? for the environment. They looked very grouchy; I thought maybe it was just that day, butevery time I stop in, their customer service interaction powers down my positive mood. ANYWAYS? their açaí bowls are greatand yummmm. Yes, it takes more than 30 mins to get them ready. Maybe, it?s to make sure all ingredients are included. I amtrying to make my own açaí bowls now from home because they pricey lol, but still taste amazing. The healthy drinks are sooooogood too! I?m making it a goal to try out all their green drinks. Great juices and smoothies! Pricey, but comparable with other places even outside of AK. Two things that weren?t great about my... experience were unfriendly customer service and incorrect pickup time for my order. I had confirmed a pick up time on the phone,and received a text message the evening before that it was ready for pickup, but it ended up not being ready and I had to comeback a couple hours later. Love love loveeeeee their açaí bowls ???? we tried the Mauna Kea Açaí Bowls and they are so soooo delicious!! I loved that... the açaí bowl wasn?t watered down and that the fruits were fresh. Also, decided to give this Sandia De Sol Juice a try andit?s not pretty good if you?re a watermelon lover ???? I usually get the Pure Blue Juice if you?re looking to try somethingrefreshing! When you walk in the juices they have avaliable are all listed in the wall so your able to see exactly what is in them, as well... as they benefits. I got 2 different juices, which cost me $18 but even those some of the ingredients in each of the juicerswould typically cause it to be bitter or sour, they were both very good and smooth the get down. They offer acai bowls and nutmilks as well. They have a variety of other things on the menu too. While it can be a bit pricey, its a place i will absolutlybe going again. Read more

10/10 highly recommend! I was super happy with this place, my daughter was sleeping in the car so I called in my order and they... brought it out for me. I?m really glad to see this place in Anchorage! I had a great experience on my first visit. I sampled their avocado toast, which... was simply seasoned with ?everything? bagel topping & lemon, and came on deliciously hearty, thick, multigrain bread. I alsotried one of their smoothies, the Cacao Chaser, and it was awesome! You could totally taste the almond, banana, and chocolate;all three of those harmonious flavors were perfectly balanced. This might sound far-fetched, but I found it as delicious as achocolate malt, and yet it was actually surprisingly healthy! Such a tasty way to get some protein, vitamins, and healthy fatsin your diet. The service was kind and patient; I did not feel rushed, even though I took my time poring over their menu (it allsounded so good!). And although it was made to order, the food & drink both came out in a timely manner.
