Our savior on cold chilly night with all the other bars and restaurants closed in the city. A small fun spot with great beers... and finger food and sandwiches. Expect the place to be tight filled with people but the vibe is fun and the food isdelicious. Got the calamari , halibut and the shrimp. All three was delicious and satiated all of us. The service was decent aswell and our server seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this place as a first choice and not just a?there are no other places open? kind of choice Read more

Ive been going to F Street station since 1998! During that time Ive worked for 3 airlines. The atmosphere is fabulous, lively... and I meet other fliers. I usually have the Caesar salad with blackened fresh halibut, always delicious and reasonably priced. Ifeel so at home visiting F Street and am so very glad that they made it through covid! It has been at least 20 years since my last trip to Anchorage, Alaska. F Street was a favorite place then and it is still... fantastic. Without a doubt they have the best halibut and chips in town, maybe even the state. Their chicken sandwich is alsodelicious and ranks high at the top of my list. Best of all they will double fry your fries for a crispness on the outside thatis perfect. Beyond all of that they have a really good selection of beers on tap; plus, the famous block of cheese can still befound on the corner of the bar. Read more

Stopped by for a quick dinner and drink before heading to the airport. It was crowded, but was able to find an open seat at the... bar next to the kitchen. Zoey quickly came over with a great attitude and personality to take the drink orders. She did anamazing job throughout the meal. Started off with an Alaskan Amber before ordering the Halibut Sandwich, Alaskan Oysters, andSourdough Crab Sandwich. It was great watching all our food being freshly and nicely prepared at the kitchen bar. The cookswere quickly preparing all the orders. Within 15 minutes, our food was handed over to us by the cooks. Wow, I was notexpecting the food to be so good from a bar. It was definitely up there with many of the restaurants I ate throughout Alaska. Oysters were a good size and extremely fresh. Halibut was a nice, thick cut and perfectly crusted. The Crab was nice chunks offresh red crab. Everything was great, but my favorite was the Halibut Sandwich. Being in Alaska, I probably had some form ofHalibut over 10 times on my trip, but this was by far my favorite. It was both breaded and grilled with a little char onit. Overall, food, service, and atmosphere were great. I wanted to stay longer for drinks and maybe light appetizersthroughout the night, but had to get to the airport. Recommend this place for surprisingly great food. Read more

Cute intimate bar setting, would recommend to people who have time to wait or just looking for a drink because seating is... limited. Beers on tap, bottles and wines. Food was pretty good, they were out of crab on this day but their halibut sandwich ismy biggest recommendation. As a Caesar salad fan, it's a hit or miss. I would not reorder their calamari but their jalapeñomayo that accompanies it makes it worth it if you're a calamari superfan like me. Clam chowder was bliss. My waitress waslovely, and did her best to keep us up with drinks. We waited quite a while for our food, Around 15 minutes between eachdish. It's always handy to double check what you get, I ordered a bowl of soup but received a cup. I didn't mind, so my waitresstook it off. But if you don't know any better, it would have been a mix up. We?ve had a surprisingly hard time finding good seafood since arriving in Alaska earlier in the week. But F Street Station more... than made up for it! Started things off with the salmon dip which was rich and creamy. Followed up by massive juicy friedhalibut chunks! Light breading and the delicious jalapeño sauce just knocked it out of the park! Full service available at thebar. No need to wait for a table. Read more

I really enjoyed this place, we'd tried to go several times but it was so busy we couldn't get a spot. It's the closest thing... Anchorage has to a pub, with the darkened wood, pub stools, and chatter. The ceilings are beautiful copper tiles and thewaitresses are cute and quick with their service. We both had the grilled turkey sandwich and liked it. What sets it apart isthe jalapeno mayo that accompanies it. The French onion soup was good as well. I enjoyed the noise and energy and would comeback Read more

This place exceeded our expectations; being a local favorite - this joint give way to affordable, delicious foods and drinks. We... had the raw oysters ???? and also the fried oysters. Both was fresh and wonderful. Good enough selection of wines and bubbly.Friendly staff and a place you will most definitely meet new people. We also got ahead and tried the beef ribs - best decisionwe?ve made all day. ???? ???? hands down top 5 must see joints in Anchorage. Read more
