This maybe the worst Chinese restaurant ive been to. They?re Sesame chicken is like buying chicken tenders at you local store... and air frying it and the pouring a bottle of store made sauce. We had the steamed pot stickers, then we both has the D-12 with fried rice. Which is Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. One of... thr pot stickers I ate was a little cold, but thr rest were fine. The food was delicious. As you can see from thr end of mealpictures they really don't put a lot of crunchy noodles at the bottom of thr beef. A little is good of course. We haven't had them for a while and we had extra money so I went all out for delivery dinner for us spent 68.00. To my... disappointment the food was cold, took well over an hour and 20 mins to get here, the tempura shrimp and veggies lookedextremely bad like kitchen scraps.(pictured in photo) They were soggy with oil and gag worthy. No alcohol served here. Limited parking. Plenty of seating. Anchorage has plenty of Chinese food restaurants, but is China... Garden worth a visit? China Garden is easy enough to find, but the parking seems very small compared to the amount of tablesinside. During my visit the China Garden restaurant was completely empty. There is a bar with a television, but there is noalcohol served here. I had a coke with my meal; I ordered the D-5 "Kung Pao Chicken/Sweet & Sour Pork". My wife ordered the"House Fried Rice". I couldn't finish my meal because the food was extremely salty. I tried my wife's meal and it was alsovery salty. We asked for to-go boxes and I tried both meals the next day. Sadly both meals were very salty and it appearsnothing had changed after 24-hours. If you have a large family, a large group of friends, or if you're planing a party then Irecommend China Garden due to the huge amount of space. This was suggested by someone at work during my short trip here in Anchorage. By far the best service i have gotten at a... restaurant. The lady that served us was soooo nice and she made sure we were squared away throughout the whole time we werethere. She even helped us put our left overs and all! I love the food we got! We ordered the beef bulgogi, short rib soup, andsoy bean stew. The food was amazing! The place was so clean and the ambience was perfect in my opinion. Their website did nothave the KOREAN food menu and only CHINESE food menu, since the lady said they are new, they only have the korean menu availablefor dine-in. But i highly recommend this place!!! Excellent service, very fast, friendly. We went at 2pm on a Wednesday and our food was at the table 16 minutes after we walked... in the door. Food was delicious, perfectly prepared, and had really nice attractive presentation. Has a bit of a lingeringcigarette smell, but the dining room was perfectly clean. Lunch prices are $15-20 per person, but the dinner prices will run youabout $25 each. Read more
