Reviews for Rollin Sushi Café in Anaheim, CA
TL;DR overpriced, worst quality, and blatantly dishonest. Having lived here for a year, I?ve given up on this place. I?ve had... fresher grocery store sushi. God forbid you order from the gluten free section, because be prepared for ?GF Roll- $13? to cost$17, and it?s still not safe for celiacs (they don?t bother to try, just recommended for those with dietary preference). Theycharge more for ?GF? rolls, then add more $$$ when you order; there is no option to just order, the more expensive, gluten freeroll. I never order salmon or albacore because the quality is okay for cooking, but definitely not sushi grade. This placetries to say ?they say? they?re the the best, but imaginary friends don?t count. There is a better place one block south, butthe poke bowl place is my recommendation. If you are looking for cheaper, the grocery store is nearby. Read more
They responded and no I told you it was service animal and you told me to leave the establishment! And it took over half hour... for us to get refund and we didn?t even eat there. So this is not a false review. The older lady that is owner told me to getout because they did not allow dogs and he was in stroller with leash and I told you he was service dog. You still told me toleave so you did not obey the law and this is not false review. I will not take my post down because it?s the truth so you needto review the law and abide by it.They are very rude and do not accept dogs into establishment even if they are service dogs.Charged my card and I didn't order anything took over half hour to get refund issued. I wish I could give -1 star. Will not begoing back. Read more
I got the lunch special and at first, I thought the portion would not get me full, but it was a good portion! Both of these... rolls were $11, which is pretty affordable for sushi in Anaheim. I like the presentation, but I wish the garnish wasn?t adisposable plastic grass. I honestly don?t remember what these rolls were called, but I liked the roll in the back (seepicture). The fish was fresh, and the cuts were nice and clean. There was a bit too much garlic, in my opinion, but overall itadded a nice crunch to the dish. The spicy tuna roll (front) was also nice. It?s your standard roll, which definitely has thecomponents just right. The service was also good. I didn?t wait more than 10 minutes to retrieve the food, and the cashier wasnice and friendly. You cannot dine in the restaurant, as city policy requires food to be ordered to-go, which I didn?t mind atall. Read more
The staff here is amazing. It looks like a family run restaurant. I love supporting businesses like this, but the value for the... food is why I come here. Everything I have ordered tastes so fresh. There is usually parking right outside the door which isalways nice. They have specials going on almost everyday of the week! As if we didn?t already have enough reasons to keep comingback. The inside of the place has a very nice vibe to it. I wish it wasn?t takeout only right now because the ambiance isspecial. Read more

I was recommended this place. I loved the set up and very friendly staff. The sushi was filling and great. Very good pricing and... if you want a beer they have a good selection. I hope to come back again and try macaroons and well. Read more

The sushi rolls were to big to eat and they needed to be cut down or made smaller. The service was okay could have been better.... I did not enjoy the sushi as it was strange in taste like it was old and not fresh. Read more
