Everything was very tasty; ordered the Passion Fruit and Mango Ceviche, Puesto Perfect Guac, Verduras Plate, Grilled Shrimp... Plate and Filet Mignon Taco. And because we were celebrating a birthday a piece of Tres Leche cake was served to the birthdayhonoree. Service was excellent even though it was only two of us. This is a high end Mexican restaurant worth the money. Read more
I’ve been multiple times and always enjoy the food, drinks, and ambiance. You can reserve a table through Open Table. Puesto... will validate valet parking for two hours. The ambiance in the restaurant is always excellent! The interior is beautiful andsuper modern. I always get the Tamarindo Shrimp tacos. They are my favorite! If you’re not super hungry, only get two tacos.I do recommend the drink Cadillac. It’s my favorite! Read more
I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a different kind of Mexican restaurant than I was accustomed to (though I suppose... "artisan" in the name and its location at the Westin should've tipped me off...). I love the atmosphere and the decor. The arrayof floating shelves around the bar and the...everything...was beautiful. The staff was friendly, courteous, and competent. Thefood and drinks were delicious. I enjoyed the fiesta guacamole ???? (sorry, I inhaled it too quickly before it occurred to meto take a pic) and two kinds of tacos - the mushroom and the vurduras. I'll be honest, I didn't entirely know what was in thesecond but they were amazing and I loved it. Accompanying, I had the mule (it was something special like fruity or tropical butI don't remember). I definitely recommend this restaurant. The vegetarian and vegans options are amazing and my colleaguesenjoyed their meat-based dishes, as well. There were also plenty of gluten free options on the menu, too. Read more
Located next to the Westin on Katella Boulevard next door to Fleming's Steakhouse this is a great little gem. Upbeat atmosphere... huge tequila bar selection and some of the best tasting Artisan tacos I've ever tried. I would definitely recommend they'rehomemade guacamole and you can get it in four different styles. So after you spent the day at Disneyland and looking for a nighton the town stop by and have a great evening. Read more
We went on a Friday night and it was busy. We had made a reservation and were seated quickly. They bring crunchy tortilla chips... and a delicious salsa while you wait for your order. The strawberry margarita was well balanced. The mango margarita was strong, but good. Puesto offers a unique twist to Mexican food. The tacos were one of a kind, but nothing was really spicy. The tresleches cake tastes like coffee! It was the best I have ever had. Read more
Gluten free menu: Yes, it’s built in to the regular menu. Items are clearly marked GF. What I ordered: Chips and salsa with... Ceviche Verde, Short Rib Quesabirria taco, Carnitas taco, rice, beans Gluten free options: 4/5 It’s a decent selection. I’ma mostly chicken eater and unfortunately none of the chicken dishes were marked gluten-free. Food: 4/5 Love the chips. Theywere not only warm but you could also see grill marks on them. Definitely not your average tortilla chips. Way better. Salsa isthick and fire roasted, packed with flavor. I always appreciate when they leave water on the table that we canrefill. Everything has a kick so if you’re not into at least a little spice then this isn’t the place for you. Tacos -beef taco was tasty. The cheese wrapped around the meat was different. Can’t go wrong with crispy cheese! The cilantro ricegave off a subtle hint of butter and had nice flavor. The Ceviche tasted a little fishy. I wouldn’t order it again but amlooking forward to trying the potato taquitos and fiesta guacamole next time (and there WILL be a next time!). Service: 4/5 Ourserver was friendly. We didn’t see her much because other people brought the food to the table as it was ready, so everythingwas delivered hot and fresh. Location: 4/5 You have to park in the Westin hotel’s parking structure out back, but you canvalidate your parking ticket at the restaurant, which covers you for two hours. It’s maybe a 2 minute walk from the parkingstructure to the restaurant. Very easily accessible. You also get to walk through the hotel, which is absolutelystunning. Ambiance: 5/5 Cross between casual and upscale. The decor was interesting to look at. Lots of small details that theywent above and beyond with. I love a good atmosphere and design. This place has it. Price: 4/5 Artisan Mexican food has itsprice. $98 for two people with tip. Appetizer, two entrees, no drinks. Overall score: 4/5 Read more
