Dave?s Hot Chicken - you hit it right outta the ball park. Where have you been, I?ve lived in Orange/Anaheim area for 12 years... and this is the first time I?ve had chicken that against my better judgment the plunge I took in placing my order on no 4. Icould not get out the door fast enough. Tired and hungry after a hard days grafting, you may ask where is this review leading.I?m not from America, I?m originally from Scotland and Dave?s Hot Chicken, took me all the way back home. Very, veryreminiscent of chicken pakora was my huge chunk that they call a slider, slide it did right down my gullet. I opted for a mildas can?t do too spicy and with taking all the parts that came with the slider, sauces, pickles as I?m not allowed sadly. As Islurped on my and biting into my first chicken sandwich from Dave?s Hot Chicken, all I can say is do not hesitate in payingDave?s Hot Chicken a visit. Where did this place come from?? The wife picked a random place for us to pick up a quick dinner on the way back from a late... night at the theme park and this was wonderful! Chicken was cooked to perfection with crispy outsides and moist insides, cookedall the way through. The spice level was great, pricing was good, and customer service was top notch! I try this chicken sandwich for the first time and I was hooked on it for days. I went for one below of the spicyest levels and... it was perfect. I really like the fries and pickles. There logo mascot what was caught my eye. I think next time it's time to gofor the most spicy ???? levels as the gost reaper. The interior atmosphere was so cool of good art. Read more
Wow, their chicken is deliciously flavorful. Good service. I like that they're open late making it a convenient stop after an... ANGELS game. Expect a short wait when you get there, but it's definitely worth it. I've had the chicken slider each time. This place just opened a few weeks ago so I developed to try it out. Since they just opened and I. Am in at midnight, I didn?t... expect the service to be perfect. The employees were friendly and my experience was good. I think because they just orientedthey were giving out free drinks. I ordered a number three which was one tender and one slider and added cheese on the fries. Iordered lite mild because I?m old and can?t handle crazy spicy anymore. The flavor and breading of the chicken was really goodto me and the spicyness level was perfect for me. The seasoning on the fries was pretty good too. The pickles they give you onthe side was a good addition and the sauces was not bad. I would?ve given it 5 stars except they don?t have shakes yet and Ireally wanted a strawberry shake and they were also out of ice. A pro is that they are also open late. Til 2am I believe. Consof that is there are going to be the wrong crowds hanging out there late at night. Check for Angels game time because if you getcaught in that rush you will never get your food in a decent time.
