Reviews for Catal Restaurant in Anaheim, CA
We went to Catal after our first day at Disneyland and wow, we had a great time! Our server was Tracey and she was both friendly... and attentive. We ordered the Pan Con Tomate for appetizer, the steakhouse burger and free range chicken for entree, and thecreme brulee for dessert. I had the passion fruit Iced tea and water to drink while my partner ordered the strawberries ofsummer cocktail and a cold brew martini. Our water glasses were never empty and our food came out promptly. We would definitelydine here again! Read more
we had a 630 reservation and checked in on time, but they didn't seat us until closer to 7pm ... and dissapointingly there were... a ton of empty tables we passed on the way to being seated at our table ... were out of the pork chop @630 on a Friday night...the paella was too old-ocean-tasting .. the best part was watching the fireworks from Disneyland... I suggest the octopusappetizer. server was amazing. Read more
The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had Pan Con Tomate for our appetizer. We both had ice water as... well as a glass of red wine. My wife had the skirt steak and I had the chicken dinner. We tried each other?s plate and we likedit. For dessert we had the Tahini Blondie which was out of this world delicious! Read more
Like many of the Downtown Disney restaurants, expect great service and delicious food. This seemed to be the most quietest out... of the downtown restaurants so a very nice spot if you want to get away from the crowds and have a nice conversation. Thecrispy calamari was perfectly battered and seasoned. The filet mignon was so tender, just would love some more of that butterbecause it enhanced the steak even more. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaked right off and was not dry at all. Woulddefinitely come again. Read more

Date night at Catal Restaurant! If you are in the area and was a yummy dinner ? I say go for it! But after paying for parking... and the hectic atmosphere of getting to the restaurant, I would pass. We had the spicy cucumber and the citrus margaritas? verytasty! The appetizer was the calamari, it was good, the ones on top were a bit over salted, but all in all, it was good. For themain course, we both got the medium rare filet mignon, gnocchi and mini mushrooms. They showed up rare, but works out best forus since I use left overs for breakfast the next morning. We ended with the creme brûlée.. a classic for us! It wasdelicious! We were at a small table with a lot of traffic, like an airplane? but there were plenty of bigger tables. I suggestasking for a bigger table if possible. The servers were attentive and helpful. Read more
Went midweek right before a major holiday, it was one of the easier places to get seating. We were seated overlooking downtown... Disney. They have a decent menu everything from burgers to paella which I tried. Their vegetable paella was interesting?neverhad fideo seco. Overall it wasn?t bad. The other dishes looked decent, my group was satisfied with what they ordered. Staff cameto check on us a few times. They were also helpful and friendly. They even let us watch the fireworks on the patio after wedined. They have both outdoor patio dining and indoor dining. They also have a decent bar. Read more
One of several restaurants in the downtown Disney district. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. The most disappointing... thing was when we ordered the cheese plate and literally got cheese. On a plate. No presentation. No proper board. Just slicedcheese on a normal dinner plate. My husband ordered the salmon which was over lentils, rice, and red curry. It packed a decentpunch and was pretty good. I ordered the halibut with risotto. My halibut was a bit overcooked and the risotto was as well. Theflavors and seasoning were good, though. Overall, decent food but far too pricey for what you get. Read more
