I've been to both Firehouse locations in Idaho Falls. I will not return to the one on the west side of town. The sandwiches are... always cold. The east side location is much better in terms of quality. The employees are always warm and welcoming.Unfortunately, there seems to be some kind of strife with the employees and their staffing and scheduling leading to a lot ofcomplaining going on behind the counter. Keep in mind that your kitchen area is in the guest area so everything that is said isheard. I know that staffing is difficult right now, but I honestly don't want to hear employees complaining about it while I'meating. It makes me feel like I am adding to my their burden. Read more
The service was friendly and helpful. The store was clean. The sandwiches are pretty good, though they are all too sweet for my... tastes. And they are quite expensive. For me, a middle aged man, a small would be just the right amount of food for an averagelunch. Read more
I absolutely love Firehouse subs food. I?m giving 2 stars because the food is excellent. But service? I usually go to the Utah... avenue in Idaho falls but was in Ammon so I thought I?d stop in quick to grab a sandwich. I waited 45 minutes?. And I was nottold it would be that long. (I heard them telling a few people after me it would be 30 minute wait, and those people left therestaurant.) 45 minutes for a sandwich just doesn?t seem realistic. And I would have liked to have known this! Sad you?resending away customers because of the wait too. I will stick to the other side of town next time. Not one bit happy. Read more
We love firehouse subs. We order probably every other week. Usually our order is great. But this evening we ordered 3 subs and... one of the sandwiches was incorrect. We didn't order jalapenos and there was many on the sub. Also it didn't have double meatas ordered. My son was taking the jalapenos off just to be able to eat it. Read more

Was not sure of this place after a bad experience in Pocatello. Decided to give it a try and have found my new sandwich shop.... Ordered both the new chicken gyro and the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. The chicken sandwich had plenty of chicken andtoppings with a little burn and the end. I absolutely love Firehouse Subs! The staff are always so warm and welcoming and try their best to have your order made exactly... to your specifications and in a timely manner! I especially appreciate that they offer a GF bun that is actually delicious!Having a gluten-sensitive dietary restriction makes eating out so HARD, but Firehouse offers a delicious gluten friendlysandwich!
