I?m not sure what happened at this McDonalds today but it must have been busy. Our food wasn?t made with love (junior chickens... had no lettuce and sundae was overfilled and leaked onto the tray and made my hands sticky after I touched it). Forgottenlettuce and a bit too much ice cream was not enough to warrant complaint from me. Other than that it was your typicalMcDonald?s. Fast and just as you expect. However, we elected to sit in the play area as we have a toddler who decided she onlywanted to run and scream today (why are these play areas rare these days at McDonalds???). I immediately regretted this decision- but have you ever had to tell a toddler they couldn?t do something you just told them they could do? - on the floor in theplayroom the bodies of the lost fries laid, with their innards smeared across the floor as a warning to other passingfries. There were three tables: all three of them had obviously seen this same battle; which was evident by the smeared greasyfingerprints of others. Only one table wasn?t covered in garbage and old half eaten food. We were the only ones in the room atthat time so we had the pick of the litter. A friendly fly visited us mid-meal and refused to leave, despite our attempts tomake it feel unwelcome. It must have escaped the prison at the cash, where it?s friends were living. When we were at the counterwaiting for the food I watched several flies performing the ?cell block tango? from the musical Chicago amongst thedonuts. Well it hasn't been too bad as of late and most of my orders have been great also pay your staff more!!!! I will put this on... every fast food post I see as these big companies need to do better there is no need in 2022 for everyone being so short staffedif they just pay their employees a decent wage for once cuz think about it cooks in hotels, bars, hospitals get pay wonderful sowhy can't a cook at macdonald's maybe they would take more care of the food if so ???? Stopped this afternoon for 2 coffees. They were a little busy at the counter but not what I would consider crazy busy. The... drivethru had a bit of a line. The reason to explain is there was one person in front of me at the counter when I got there. 2other groups of ppl formed in behind me. There was a few groups of ppl waiting for food to the left and some ppl using thekiosk. The person in front of me, myself and the two other groups waiting about ten minutes with staff moving around thecounter occasionally looking at us but no one mentioned anything to us. Finally the last behind me walked over and asked a girlstanding behind the counter but not helping us if they weren't taking orders at the counter. The girl said no we aren't. notone staff member had let us know or even acknowledged us or at the very least have a sign up. I left and went to Tim's instead. Read more
We were just passing through and stopped for lunch. The parking lot seemed like a traffic jam, but fortunately we pulled right... in a spot. We had a person take our order so we didn't have to deal with that kiosk. They got the order correct and fairlyquick. The food was ok for what it is. But I order a beverage. When filling my own cup on the one beverage dispenser that wasworking out of the two. The nozzle popped off and sprayed beverage all up my arm. Not the best first impression. Read more
The lettuce is always disappointing. Wilted on one end, dry and chunky on the other. Please ask A&W where they get their... lettuce. Read more
I am sure they have a reasonable excuse why they messed up both sandwiches ordered, my other half ordered a sandwich with no... pickles extra sauce and got no sauce, an extremely large amount of lettuce and I had ordered a sandwich with no pickles and noonions and as you can see from my photo that isn't what I got.. the worker ever repeated the order back.
