It was busy and service was slow but extremely courteous, just don?t go if you?re in a rush. Food was great, Marsala was meh but... everything else we had was terrific! We were celebrating a birthday and got a free cannoli to take home. Waitress was verysweet. Would definitely go again Read more

Was just meandering around Ames and started getting hungry. Chose this place at random. Glad I did. Was greeted and seated by... very friendly staff. The tomato bisque soup and penne pasta with basil pesto was wonderful. The caramel cheesecake wasdivine!!!! My server was excellent at helping me decide between all the wonderful choices. Price was reasonable for the amountI was served. Next time, I?ll need to bring some friends with me. Read more

Visited again on Wednesday for dinner. Have been there a couple different times. This past experience was not disappointing.... Got there before it started to get real busy, so seating was not an issue, and we sat in the same area as before. We weregreeted right away from the waitress, and it was the waitress that made the experience better than the last time. She was a verysweet, young gal, that at first glance, you wonder if she should be working around the bar. No offense intended, she's a verypretty younger staff member, that will do well in the service industry, if she keeps doing what she does. We ordered the cheesygarlic bread for an appetizer and long Island ice tea. I gotta say, one of the best long islands. Kudos to the bartender andshowing our waitress,( who must be in training) how to make. We ordered our food, which was a large special pizza, and a Cesar.Food was great, hot, and will continue eating here. The only disappointment was the dessert, enough so, I cant remember whatit's called. Very small hard crunchy thing filled with some type of cream, and a sauce drizzled on it. The drinks and food wereworth 30 min drive. Our server made it even better. Read more

Revisited Ge-Angelos tonight. Got seated quickly, servers were on their game despite training new hires. There were about 10... other customers eating, so it was nice to see they could function well with mulitple customers. Ordered a drink , got that, ordered appetizer of mozzarella sticks, (homemade), very good, got that first, then ordered pizza which was delicious. TheItalian sausage really stood out in my mind, nice and spicy. The server even lit the stand u der the pizza to keep it warm. Itsa little pricey at $30 dollars for mozzie sticks and a large three toping pizza, but the servicd was fast and friendly, theambiance was perfect, the music is absolutely awesome. I sat in the most comfortable wood chair that I can ever remember... Read more

We have been here a couple of times over the years. Good food but nothing you couldn't make yourself at home. Service was good.... Salad was mostly spinach(my wife loved that and I not so much). Portions are large making for a good value. Read more
