For as many years as I've lived in Ames I never had tried this place. They had several items on the menu that looked delicious. ... I got the gyro sandwich, and I'm normally picky about these because I grew up with a family friend who made the best ones butthis one was also delicious and I shamefully destroyed my whole plate! ???? There were 2 shrimp shell pieces mixed in with my fries. Unfortunately I didn?t see the pieces until I had eaten most of my... food. I had a patty melt and my partner had a gyro so there was absolutely no reason for shrimp to have come in contact with ourfood in any capacity. It felt like an allergy hazard and it was definitely off-putting to the point where I didn?t finish myfood. Also a random guy was walking around the restaurant asking if we ate which was confusing because they were in gym shortsand a baseball cap and no apron or uniform to indicate that they were in any way affiliated with the restaurant.
