Great french fries, huge portions. But the veggie burger is just vegetables on a bun, no patty! And it was charged as a full... price sandwich! Like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and condiments on a bun, no veggie patty or protein source. That's nota real sandwich, and it's disappointing that Five Guys can't do better. Read more
Not nearly as good as advertised. Peanuts were stale and food way over priced, fries were mehh.. you can literally make this... food at home for 1/4 of the price. 5$ for a side of fries??? Hand cut and bags of potatoes on the floor big whoop I can buy abag of potatoes for 3$... Read more

Went for lunch to try something new, was massively disappointed. $35 for burgers wit burned bacon, and flavorless patties.... Fries were okay, nothing special. This is twice what you'd pay at local BBops, which is way better in all aspects. And Culver'sprovides more selection and better quality burgers. Not going back, this will be a passing fad in this industry. Read more
My burger and fries were greasy and flavorless and did not sit well. I would rather eat an average burger than to try this... place again. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the restaurant was clean. Wish the food lived up to the hype. Read more
Food was just food. Burgers are not worth $10+ each. I have had way better food from fast food places. The bacon was burnt like... it was damned. Burnt bacon and the sub par burgers and hot dog made this place a no go for me. Employees at this location wereopenly fighting with one another which made the order take a long time as well as an all around unpleasant environment(I usuallyfind it entertaining personally and offer commentary to feed the flames). First visit to Five Guys in Ames. Great Time, good food, probably top two or three burgers in Ames. A LOT A fries, a regular is... pictured, plus there is more in the bottom of the bag. More parking than you would think. No wifi, no place to lock up bike,outside seating though, great bathrooms. Read more
