The menu has shrunk, not as much to choose as there was during the pandemic. It does appear it is being blamed though.
Went to the Americus Waffle House on 8/2/2922 at 10:00 pm. It was one of the worse experiences. The person cooking the food... kept walking to the back. Leaving food on grill. The girls and he was fussing with each other. He was being rude to them andthe food was poorly cooked. They were really all ugly to each other! Not something people want to experience when it eating.There was a table behind us that never got waited in. After 25 minutes they got up and left! I think this restaurant needs a overhaul! Dined in august 3rd at 7pm had 4 people total eating. Waitress was super rude the whole time. Drinks were nasty had to get... different ones. And almost all of my food was undercooked! Pink sausage inside, big clumps in grits, no chocolate chips on mywaffles like I asked, and eggs not scrambled like I asked, my fiancé hash browns weren?t cooked all the way either?.never had aproblem here before but this was a very bad experience Read more
Food was good, customer service was good. Kitchen needed some sanitary cleaning in some areas.
People are nice, food is good, and the same meal costs differently every time I order it. It's the full WaffleHouse experience
My friend and I went to the Americus, Waffle House. When we arrived, there were 4 other people, besides us. It took 20 minutes... for the waiter ," Bubba" to take our order. The food was okay, except for the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was so thin, it wasnot appealing. "Bubba" was more interested in a group of guys, then our table. The service was terrible. I went to order me and my family some breakfast this morning and my orders was all wrong, when I came back to the restaurant to... tell them I didn't get any reimbursement or my order wasn't corrected, not I'm stuck with something I didn't order, I went backtoday and the service got better so I gave a few stars up and let see how it goes next time Read more
The establishment was "closed" stating that they weren't clean but being in service industry one of your jobs is making sure... your establishment is clean throughout the shift. They decided to close down and not service anyone while all 5 of them"cleaned" for 2 hrs which made me even more upset simply because they lied and said they'd open after 30 mins but didn't. Theywouldn't even answer the phone to take Togo orders. Why are they on the clock but refusing to do their jobs? Read more
