Any time.that I could make it in, I would. The owner is nice. However, the last 2 experiences or times I have tried to order I... patiently waited with no service or care of acknowledgement. BEST SPOT YET!!! I rate my experiences with different restaurants' Door Dash orders on a regular basis, and let me say, THE ACAI... BAR RULES ALL. Terrible. Ordered a nutter butter SHAKE no blueberries extra banana got whatever this is. It pretty much all blueberries little... banna and not a shake. When tried to bring it up to the lady she wanted to argue and ask me if I'm sure that I ordered what Iwant; when I said it twice and it still came out wrong. Watched them messed up 3 other orders and argue while there. I changedfrom one star to 4 while this experience was still terrible mostly due to the argument and attitude of the girls that day.. ihave gone back and have gotten what I ordered correctly each time, and the shakes have been delicious. A nice oasis of health in Amarillo, TX. For the price, bowls are rather small but I?m also used to large açaí bowls from Los... Angeles. Also, the toast is pricey for just one slice of toast. Whenever I am in Amarillo I make a stop by The Acai Bar. The smoothies are phenomenal and the staff is very responsive and... adaptive. If you want to swap out an ingredient they are more than happy to do it and offer wonderful suggestions. These drinksare clean and low in sugar. However, they taste amazing.
