Driving with family from CO to GA, stopped in Amarillo for the night. I ordered to-go with a Thai tea. So tired from the drive,... but my spirits were uplifted by the background worship music on the speakers. The service and takeout were great. Read more
I already started eating before I took the picture. overall a good place to eat. chicken fried rice, pad thai and wonton soup... all very good. they didn't have what i usually would order in dallas but I was happy with what I ordered. the staff is supernice too. you folks complaining about the credit card surcharge need to get over yourselves. the prices here are veryreasonable compared to other thai restaurants. they could easily raise the prices. support your local small businesses. The staff ensured social distancing which was very much appreciated and the staff were unusually attentive and courteous. Now... for the food. Oh man the food was EXCELLENT. I didn't expect the Thai food to be this good but easily this was a gem to findwhile traveling. The pot stickers were crisp out the outside and divine in the middle. The shrimp curry was spicy and balancedby the refreshing coconut milk. Thai Tea? Ambrosial. I got also sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice and my heavens theChinese food was cooked just as well. If you're looking for good service, fast food, and all at a good price, this is a place to go. With several Thai food locations... in Amarillo its hard to find one that stands out from the rest. Yet, Thai Thai does this in an amazing fashion. This is not thefirst time I've been here, and it won't be the last. Come into he restaurant and expect to be greeted by the friendly staff. Isat down and was given a clean, well presented menu, and had my drink order taken almost immediately. Having the Pad Thai andCream Cheese Won Tons again the food came out in less than 10 min. I was not let down, the flavor in the Pad Thai is sowelcoming and warm. It's definitely comfort food. I have had Pad Thai all over and this by far is the best for me. The CreamCheese Won Tons are so amazing almost like a dessert. If I could I would sprinkle powered sugar and maybe some chocolate andraspberry drizzle. Ether way they are amazing as they are. The only thing that I would change is the timing of the platedelivery. If the kitchen would space the time out in between appetizer and main dishes so that customers could have more time toenjoy the appetizer. Keep up the good work Thai Thai.
