Shelby’s has a lot going for it. The location is really fun. You can watch smaller planes come and go and you’ll often get... the opportunity to see some unique aircraft out and about. But to the real question: how is the food? After three visits, I’vefound it to be everything I look for in a lunch place. The food is made and cooked fresh to order. The fries are always ahighlight. I’m not usually a huge chicken tender fan, but Shelby’s are amongst the best I’ve had in Amarillo. And theportions are sized well. Not too big, not too small, I find them to be just right. And then they have pie. And it’s quitetasty. All in all Shelby’s makes for a really awesome place to grab breakfast or lunch in Amarillo. We’ll be back, and Ihope you will be as well! Read more
1st time there. I belive they cook to order and use FRESH ingredients. Well worth the wait and don\'t be in a hurry cause it\'s... small and scenery is awesome. Watching planes land and take off was an added bonus......very nice people. Read more
Came for breakfast and it did not disappoint. First of all, this place is sooo clean. You can watch planes land while you... eat…even the windows were spotless which is a really difficult thing to keep up in Amarillo! The bacon was the best. My eggswere perfect and the buttery toast is the best around. I saw lots of delicious looking lunches coming out too. Waiters werefriendly and efficient. They have prime rib on Friday nights and they also have a special on Thursday nights. Read more
The mediocre food is the best thing this place has going for it. The service is non existent. Bring your own drinks because... you won\'t get a refill and bring your own condiments as well. They will eventually take your order and they will drop yourfood at the table. That\'s all the service they bestow on you. Read more
