Order a 2 meat dinner. And it was not only cold but dried out. The bread was just as hard as the brisket. I posted a picture of... the plate on Amarillo Facebook Restaurant reviews. I called and talked to Chris and he wasn?t a bit concerned. Thankfully Iordered through DoorDash and was able to get a refund. This is the 2nd time my family received horrible food. The Amarillo restaurant was clean and the staff were nice. My father, husband and myself went to eat on Tuesday June 28th. We... had come from another restaurant that 100% ignored us and we were starving. The girl who took our order was super sweet andfriendly. She did an excellent job. I didn't get her name but she was so nice. We ate at this location around 8pm. The food wasgood and hot. The ribs were tender and well cooked. We got our ribs Okie style. I really hate to say it, but last night is the last time my wife and I will be visiting or ordering here. Our last three... orders/visits has been worse than the time before. Going by other reviews it would seem our once favorite establishment is onit's way out the door. We order our normal which is a massive family pack. No toast what so ever, missing two of our largefamily sides, the two sides we did receive were in single tiny sauce cups. The sausage wasn't even cooked and was ice cold inthe middle. The ribs were bland, un seasoned, and not even cooked completely. There wasn't even a smoke ring on the verysmall and inedible meat that was on the bones. It was almost like it was heated up and slathered in sauce. The pulled pork wasunseasoned and the portion was very very small. The only thing out of the whole order that was good was the chicken. Last timewe visited to sit down it took forever to get seated and a drink order to happen. Almost 30 minutes to get 3 waters w/ lemon. The staff and kitchen staff look less than thrilled to be there. This place needs a serious overhaul and some people that takepride in their food, because just like the season on the food, their pride is just not even there. Read more
Ordered "The Dirty Deed" and I felt like I got the dirty deed done to me. The whole plate was room temperature and the meats... were tasteless and the BBQ sauce did not help it at all. I have been to many BBQ joints and this place failed miserably. Trustme and avoid this BBQ joint but go ahead if you like disappointment. Read more
I've only had one other restaurant in Amarillo leave me with this bad of an impression. I'll never return to this location. My... wife and I came in last night 2/25/2022 at 7:35 PM. There were at most five other tables with customers sitting at them. We werequickly seated and given menus. After that it took a few minutes longer than average to get our drinks. The chips and queso weordered came out a while later and was very disappointing. The queso wasn't even lukewarm. It was nearly cold. Fast-forward toone hour after we were seated and our two sandwiches (Carolina pork and BBQ) were finally put down in front of us. The BBQsandwich was warm but the Carolina pork was barely warm in the center and cold around the edges. The coleslaw side-dish lookedand tasted like it was scraped from the bottom of the barrel, and that's always been my favorite part of the meal at any otherRib Crib I've been to. The server was pleasant enough and even though I thought long and hard about leaving no tip for thefirst time ever, I decided to be nice. Instead of $5 I would've left $20 on the table had she just checked on us a couple moretimes and brought us warm food instead of cold. Like I said in the beginning, we won't be back to this location. Ordered the 3 meat plate through uber eats so I won't blame them for my food being cold when I got it, however, I can blame them... for dry hot links and the ribs were less than stellar. The "toast" that came with it would have served better as croutons andfor a side a 1/4 of a cob or corn is disappointing. First and last time eating here. Read more
There was no one at the hostess stand 2 servers passed us and never spoke. I was there as a single diner, someone else was there... to pick up a is up a to go order and a couple were waiting to be seated. Eventually the host disappeared but not before thecouple walked out saying they would find somewhere else to eat I was seated the server was lovely I ordered half a rack of woodsFrench fries and baked beans the ribs were cold the baked beans were lukewarm the French fries were piping hot. So, I would saynot the best dining experience And, just as a side note I don't really like Saint Louis style ribs I prefer baby backs but, babybacks weren't an option. I would not eat here again. Not busy for time we chose to go very few diners and no wait to be seated. Wait staff worked together so drink orders were... brought out in matter of minutes, hors d'oeuvres brought out in a very short time and we had a go order given at same time andit was brought so our guest could leave when needed to be to work on time. Our orders were taken and brought out in a reasonableamount of time. We did not feel rushed(even though few diners were being served) to finish meal. Very pleasant time enjoyingmeal and conversation with family. Wait staff was great on refills and other other request for meal. Read more
