The service was great. What I ordered was fine, it's just not what I wanted. The reason I gave it 2 stars overall was because I... went in with two menu items in mind to order, and they were out of both. I also tried to order cheesecake and they were out of"ALL pies". I don?t know how to say this nicely but this place is one of the trashiest establishments I have ever been to. The wait to get... seated took too long. My party was the only one waiting with with many tables available. From a distance you can tell that thekitchen is not clean. If it was up to me, we would?ve gone somewhere else but my friend wanted to eat there. The moment fromwhen we ordered to the moment we got our food was about 30-40 min. Many tables left waiting for their food to show up. Thestaff did not know what they were doing. The ?hostess? kept yelling for another staff member constantly across the dining area.?SOPHIA!!!!? The manager on duty looked like he had just rolled out of bed and his pants were falling off the entire time. Hewas complaining out loud how he had possibly gotten a ?corporate call? and was mad that he got one. We like all Denny's. The food is consistently good and a great value. On this not too busy Tuesday evening, we had the Pot... Roast and Sizzlin' Chicken Breast, but the best part of our visit to this particular location was our server. Mike wasattentive, polite, and very helpful, especially in providing us with tasty substitutions for items that they were out of due todelivery issues. He made a great meal even better. It is unlikely that we'll return to Amarillo, but that doesn't mean that youcan't visit, and have the same terrific experience we had. Read more
There were only 2 servers so was long wait time before orders were taken BUT they were amazing especially since one server was... in arm sling! Some of our food was little cool IT WAS STILL GOOD!! There was lot team work going on. Thank You Gals and Guys Wewill return! Read more

Waitress was nice, but I found a hair in my food. The option they gave me was take it off my bill OR make me something else. As... a nursing mother I was needing to eat but felt I should have been comped something. The manager was made aware yet didn't evencome to the table to assist or anything like most reputable places will. Read more
I waited an hour for my salad,which turned out to be a disappointment. Maybe because they were understaffed.....but the server... was very polite and constantly kept checking on us regardless that they had a lot of customers.But my coworkers plate came outlooking pretty decent. Read more
Today we went in and were seated rather quickly, but it took way too long for our food to come out. I was brought my order... incomplete because they were out of the toppings that came on it. My husband's sandwich was wrong, but he picked at it and atewhat he wanted because there was no way we were going to wait another hour for our food, but it's definitely something theyshould be noticing out of the kitchen.
