The BEST restaurant we experienced while in Amarillo!! And it's GLUTEN FREE!!! We had foods we haven't had in years due to... celiac disease and another of us is gluten intolerant. Those in our party not gluten free just enjoyed good food! The friedchicken sandwich was incredible!! We also had the onion rings, fried pickles, hamburgers, catfish, peach pie and blueberrylemon pound cake. Portion sizes were huge and we had leftovers for lunch the next day! Will definitely look forward to ourtravels that take us through Amarillo! Read more

This place is great. My sister said it was the second best bacon she'd ever had. Brunch is terrific, service is great, and... finished plates sometimes look like artwork according to my daughter. Read more

This is a great option for celiacs / gluten free. They can make anything on the menu GF; the owner has celiac. Chicken fried... steak and meat loaf were good. Fried mushrooms were also hot and tasty. Portions were huge (so big that we were too full fordessert). We ordered cinnamon pound cake to go for dessert, and it was a bit dry. Celiac and non celiac enjoyed. Overall, anexcellent find! I loved this place!!! The staff was very friendly and the drinks were great. I had a Cosmo. I have to eat gluten-free and... dairy-free and they were able to accommodate me with many choices. Gluten-free I could order anything on the menu and it couldbe made gluten-free. I had chicken tostadas and they were really good. The best part was the number of desserts that whereavailable to me. I had the brownie with sorbet (dairy free and berry delicious) and berries and coconut cream on top. We werefull from dinner but could not stop eating this, it was delicious. Read more

They don't really have extensive hours and are only open for brunch on Sunday but they are definitely worth a visit. We went on... a Sunday and my wife had the shrimp and grits, I got the chicken and biscuit dish, they were both amazing. A lot of peoplecomplain about the area but it's safe and there's plenty of parking. Brents is roomy inside and we decided to sit at the bar, nothing like a mimosa with your chicken and biscuits. Prices are reasonable but like most restaurants these days, they sufferfrom staffing issues. So if you go there, understand you may need to wait for a minute to get a table or to have a waitresstake your order but it's just the way things are now in this pandemic environment. They are worth any minor inconveniences youmay encounter! Read more
