It is one of my favorite places when I visit, good price, good food and beverage. I?ve been coming here before they moved to... this new location. Even though I liked the other location this one is conveniently located next to East Hampton Station. Read more

Very good cuisine, food was seasoned properly so it was not too overbearing. Music creates a good atmosphere, however only... offers high top seating which was uncomfortable. Great place if you are looking for good takeout. Read more

So we actually stopped next door to grab a take out sandwich because we were on a bit of a time crunch and the line was long.... Turns out the train to Manhattan was a little behind so we had a few extra minutes. I kept seeing all these people walk out withthese juices and my mouth was drooling. I had to finally ask someone and they told me they got the watermelon juice. I said SAYLESS and grabbed one to go. So refreshing! Oh and Trevor Noah was in-line in front of me and got the same juice. Can?t wait tocome back and try the food and get another juice of course. Read more

First of all: The curry chutney chicken dosa was one of the best things I?ve ever had. Hands down. SO GOOD. We loved everything... else we had here as well. Very busy; clearly others think it?s worth stopping as well. There?s limited indoor eating space, butwe were able to grab a corner counter. They do brisk takeout business as well. When the weather is good, there are many picnictables out front to enjoy your food as well. Read more

Stopped here for lunch after our drive out to the Hamptons and loved everything about it! Food was delicious and prices were... decent. I got the Masala Deluxe dosa (although might get the plain Masala if I were to go back) with the cilantro and mangochutneys. Also enjoyed an iced cardamom coffee! Definitely go here if you?re in the area!!! Read more

The Hampton Chutney Co. is a true staple of the Hamptons.. They?ve been serving consistently awesome food for over a decade in... the heart of downtown Amagansett.. So many lovely food and drink options here.. I stopped in with my family yesterday whilepassing through town and we caught them just before they closed.. The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly.. The decor isjust as warm and inviting as it always was.. I haven?t eaten there for several years and this was my children?s firstintroduction to their famous dosas.. We ordered two dosas, a selection of their chutneys (at 50 cents each I suggest you trythem all!!) and the dahl soup.. Everything was fantastic!! We skipped the mango lassi (a delicious traditional Indian yoghurtsmoothie) that we usually get, but if you?ve never had one you should definitely try it!! If you?re into caffeinated beveragesyou can?t go wrong with the many chai and coffee drinks that they offer.. My personal favorite is the cardamom coffee.. Ifyou?re out east and you?re looking for something different and delicious, give the Hampton Chutney Co. a try.. Read more
