This place is awesome. Ingredients are top quality, and everything from the mariscos ceviche to fluke crude to the hand-press... tortillas are great. So many enticing choices ranging from local bass to ribs to carnitas to rabbit to duck to red/black moles.All delicious. Such Fun date spot! The food was great! Found this place Today and went on an Adventure.....Such a Gem! So Happy. Great meal! We... had 2 specials, an entree, and 2 sides. The special Sea bass ceviche appetizer, the sea bass special, and the Apricot glazedduck with the sweet peas & duck fat potatoes ???? Honestly the duck fat potatoes were maybe the only okay thing i could havedone without... otherwise everything tasted fredh, healthy, and delicious! Would recommend & would come back! Kate was ourserver and amazing. The manager & hostess verifed Apollo but FYI they are a No Dogs venue even with outdoor seating. Noreservations, walk in. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Fantastic food and awesome staff! Kudos to the host Matt and server Luis (and the very pleasant seniorita/seniora.) We were... passing by, traveling from NJ, and fell upon this gem. Found! Coche Comedor is brought to you by the folks at Nick & Tonis. It is next door to fast casual La Fondita, great spot! It... is housed in an old railcar diner, hence the name Coche which means Car in Spanish and Comedor which means dining room, also inSpanish. The other reason it is named car is because there are a ton of cars in the parking lot...it is always packed! The food mediocre at best. No taste at all. Food came out cold. Service awful ? service with no smiles. If you want Mexican food... DONT go here. There are much better restaurants in the Hamptons to get great Mexican food. I won?t be going back. Read more
