I put three stars only because I have the salad and the soup, so I can't rate anything else but those. The minestrone soup and... it was wonderful! It was the first time that I had the soup, so I may just not know what's a good soup or not, but I enjoyed it.It was nice and quiet there when I went it was mid day, my mother and I went for lunch. Smiles everywhere. Never lack for proper service. If your waiter is busy they send some other waiter to make sure you don't need... anything. They open the door to welcome you everytime you done with them. I can't say enough about them., They are number one inmy book. Read more
I was highly disappointed with this location. I met 2 friends here Sunday 9-25-22 at 6pm since it was a central location for the... three of us. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated promptly. After sitting at our table for 10-15min no one had come byto even take our drink orders or even acknowledge that they knew we were there. We were sitting in a booth behind another familyand next to a another table with people so the wait staff were aware that we were there. After sitting there I asked a serverwalking by if someone was going to help us. I believe his name was Marlon, he did end up helping us after first letting us knowhe wasn't our server, but he'd still help. He took our drink /appetizer order and brought those items out then took our foodorder. THEN our assigned waitress comes to our table and is oblivious that we've already been helped. At this point we had beenin the restaurant for over 30min before she finally showed up. I'm assuming no one communicates with eachother there because forthe rest of our dinner the girl and Marlon kept bringing doubles of things (drink refills, dipping sauce refills, Togocontainers, and even created 2 completely separate order tickets from eachother so we ended up with 2 identical bills at the endof the night) on top of this my food came out wrong, I ordered a kids fettuccine alfredo to go with my salad, breadsticks, andpumpkin cheesecake. When the food was brought out I was served buttered noodles and then I told the waiter that he looked atthem and tried to argue they had alfredo on them which they clearly did not. He ended up bring a cup of alfredo out to put on mynoodles but it turned out to be a greasy gross mess since they were already Saturated in butter. Myself and my 2 girlfriends arevery disappointed in the service, or lack of that we received on Sunday. Well my grandkids are obsessed with Olive Garden. The service was certainly lacking, think we had a new waiter, I want to say... not his fault. We went at like 8pm on Friday night, maybe 15 tables had customers. No silverware, we asked and waited for a bitwhile he told us oh "we are out of wrapped silverware" just a minute I will get some. So all your wait staff and hostess can'twrap like 10 or so in-between services? By the time I got my silverware my daughter was done with her soup! Food was a bitpricey, but what isn't anymore. Waited forever for a 2 go box. Just not a very good experience, I will definitely try and steermy grandkids away from here. This is by far one of the coziest places to go here in Alvin, they kindly greeted us at the door and we were helped by a nice... lady who was a Gem!! She guided us through the menu which has slightly been modified due to covid. We always like eating atOlive garden but this was my first time at this location! Excellent service, the food was great, fresh and served on time. Theserver constantly checked on us and she made us feel welcome and special..
