The restaurant is beautiful. The paintings on the ceiling were mesmerizing. The food was delicious. We ordered an ahi tuna... appetizer, chicken marsala, and a pistachio crusted salmon. Hayden our waitress was very attentive. Other than the mixed drinkprice (+ prep fee?) I give the Stone Cellar a 5?, and this is from a former restaurant owner. Read more
After reading the responses from the chef I realized the chef is always right not the customer. I questioned if I should waste... my time with a review. We had a table of three couples and all agreed this would be our first and last visit. I had the SEASCALLOPS BASED OFF MARKET PRICE - jumbo sea scallops, crab meat, pan seared and finished in a lemon caper sauce served overlinguini for $26. What was served to me was small unseared scallops with no visible crabmeat or capers over linguini. Nogarish! I would guess the scallops were frozen and therefore watery and hard to achieve a sear or just were not dried properlybefore searing. What ever the reason, why didn't the dish come out of kitchen as described. As advised by the chef; no commenton the staff. Read more
Pork loin sandwich and fried banana are all fantastic. Bread, spinach, pepper loin match pretty well.

I was so excited to try this restaurant last Fall. I went on a date with my fiance while I was 8 months pregnant. I really... wanted to try the lamb. When I placed my order the waitress asked how I would like it cooked. I told her well done, only becauseI was pregnant and my doctor advised me I wasn't allowed to eat anything that wasn't fully cooked. (Now mind you, I normallyorder medium rare.) After putting my order in my lamb came out medium rare instead of well done with a note from the chef, inall caps and exclamation points saying he does not cook lamb well done. I was so disgusted with the way I was treated. I endedup eating the lamb and taking my chances, but I refuse to ever go back to this restaurant. There were so many better ways thisissue could've been handled, and yelling at me via a note and refusing to make the food I ordered is not one of them. Thataside, my brussel sprouts were awful and had no flavor. I make roasted brussel sprouts at home with olive oil, salt, and pepperand those taste better than what I ordered here. I could've lived with the unseasoned brussel sprouts, but that type of serviceisn't worth it. I refuse to give my money to someone who treats their customers with such disrespect. I wish I would've beentreated better, because I probably would've gone back. The atmosphere is beautiful and I had such high hopes when I walked in,but nope. I won't be returning. *UPDATE* *Reply to Owner* This most certainly did happen. The note was written on my bill thatcame to the table. The reason I didn't make a review until some time later is because I was telling someone about the incidenttoday and they advised me to review your restaurant on Google. Your reply to my comment just proves my point further. Your lackof professionalism is appalling. This is not how you run a business. I get it, no one wants to read a bad review, but the bestpolicy is to use that critism as a means of improvement and try to rectify the situation. The reason yo Read more
