Reviews for Long John Silver's in Altoona, PA
Food was great as usual. Service was quick. Only complaint would be that it's time to update the seating area and bathroom.
Our clerk was very nice and patient. We had a large family order and while placing it made it a phone call home to verify what... some people wanted. She smiled the whole time and was so pleasant and made sure we had all the sauces - ketchup and tarter. Read more
The food tasted good. I love the hush puppies. The staff were very friendly. The only complaint I have is it looked like the... chicken planks went on a diet. The price of an extra plank was over 2 dollars. And the planks were very thin. Read more
Got a 10 piece meal half fish half chicken, 2 fish and 2 chicken must of been thrown back in the fryer because they were so... dried out you couldn't eat it. Cole slaw was long strings of cabbage with a funky taste and off color, not even close to the wayLong John's makes their Cole slaw. Always loved long John's but this $35.00 meal turned us off for a long time. Read more
Pricey for a quick lunch of fast food. $17.90 for a thin piece of salmon, Scoop of greeenbeans, 2 hushpuppies and small drink. I... could have had Red Lobster for the price or less. Read more
I've been to a few run down, mismanaged LJS's before, but this place was well maintained, clean, organized and a friendly staff.... The food was as expected for Long John's, crispy chicken and hush puppies. But really made the visit awesome were two staffmembers did their job to a T while being super friendly and courteous. Thanks Erin and Rhonda, I hope you're Management knowshow valuable you both are, and you're taken care of in equal to your worth and commitment! Read more
