A reliably good restaurant and wonderful place for events of all sizes. We had my high school class reunion in the Sports Bar,... and it was the perfect venue. From the event coordinators and managers that helped us plan everything in advance, to thenight-of staff and bartenders-- the service was excellent. Food was good. Service was great! Tables and booths are clean. Bathrooms were clean.. No weird smells Love the atmosphere of... the whole place.. Not cheap, but I don't mind paying for good food and a full beverage.. Read more
Had a fun time and a late night after the firework show in Alton. Was surprised that we were the only ones there. The bar tender... was super friendly and quick to offer drink suggestions. We enjoyed a game of darts too. The staff were very accommodating toour needs. Read more
we had our reception at Bluff City in May & I could not not recommend them enough! The staff was amazing and attentive the night... of. They truly made my reception perfect & so stress free. Randi the event coordinator is amazing! She knows her stuff & madethe entire process a breeze. I?d highly recommend adding tortellini to your event menu. It was a guest favorite at ourreception! Bluff City restaurant is also so good! We?ve never had a bad meal & would recommend the guac bites. If I could givethis review more stars I would! I'm kinda of mixed here. I had the ultimate BLT sandwich with the homemade chips. My friend had the Pasta Con Broccoli. We... shared onion petals as an appetizer. Onion petals served greasy. BLT sandwich would have been really good if the bread hadn'tbeen saturated in liquid butter. Would I try here again, probably sone of the food coming out looked really good. Read more
We arrived late, just as they were getting ready to close the kitchen, but they were gracious enough to serve us. The... restaurant was clean, I was able to glimpse into the kitchen, even the floor was clean at the end of Sunday night. Bathroomswere clean too. Tables are disinfected as soon as the customers leave. Our server was attentive, friendly, helpful, anddidn't seem to mind working late. We overheard the kitchen manager telling everybody that they had done a good job and hethanked them. He came to our table and chatted with us despite the late hour, asking how we liked our food. Very personable andfriendly, giving us the history of the restaurant, making us feel at home. Read more
This is the second time that we have eaten here and both time were great. The waitress was very nice and answered any... questions about the menu that we had. The manager even asked us how everything was before we left.i had the chef salad and itwas just as I like them, full of goodies!! Read more
We had amazing food and service today. I wish I would have taken pictures, but the food looked so appetizing we dug right in,... and it was so good we didn?t stop until we cleaned our plates!! My husband had the grilled mahi mahi and and i had the Phillycheesesteak sandwich. Skye was our waitress and she was super attentive, never let our drinks get empty, was always checking onus and was so very friendly. Skye definitely has customer service down, good job Skye!!!
