Where has this winery been all my life? I am not a huge fan of dry wines and usually end up on the dessert end of tastings.... Sweet Acres focuses on fruit wines away from traditional grapes and it's spectacular. You can still find some dries if you're atraditionalist like my wife, but she loved everything she tried too. Our host was wonderful at explaining the wines and veryfriendly. I STRONGLY recommend making the drive to this cozy little area instead of just doing the tasting room in Helen. It waspicturesque and peaceful. While I enjoyed all of the apple, blackberry, etc. wines, but the Muscadine was to die for. I'lldefinitely be ordering more online from home. Read more

This place was amazing! Every glass we had as part of the tasting was delicious! Staff recommendations were 10/10 and the... slushies were fantastic. The fruit wines are different but absolutely delicious. Really cool atmosphere and a beautiful space! It?s a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip! You won?t be disappointed! Read more

Great wine at a valued price. We had a great time sitting on their outdoor swings and enjoying the view and company. The hostess... was informative with their wine selection and picked the perfect bottle. Will stop by when the area again! Read more

This place is fantastic!! We hosted our son and daughter-in-law?s rehearsal dinner at Sweet Acres last Friday and it was... perfect. The entire staff is great but Taylor is above and beyond! He went out of his way to make sure everything was just whatwe wanted. The location is beautiful, the wine is great (especially the slushy) and they worked easily with our catering. Ican?t say enough good things about Sweet Acre Farm. Read more

Checked this amazing winery out with my hubby this weekend and it far exceeded my expectations! Loved the selection on their... meat and cheese board. We both picked out our own flight. I loved every wine I tasted. They are fruit based wine, somethingdifferent than your average winery. We ended up buying a bottle of their "Lemonade" wine. Trust me, try it! We will definitelybe back! I was in the area visiting Jaemor Farm so I stopped by since it?s not far - glad I did this place is country chic personified.... Loved the vibe and wine (it?s made from fruit no grapes are used - works for me). The service was excellent and I ended uptaking home 3 bottles. I?ll definitely be coming back for the live music one Saturday. Thanks for the excellent service. Read more

Great wines and prices with courteous and knowledgeable staff. Unique take on a winery using fresh farm grown fruits, not just... fruity muscadine wines like most in the region. For example, their strawberry wine is made with fresh strawberries period. Superfresh and delicious. Read more
