I have ordered custom cakes from Cold Stone Creamery in the past without issues. I placed an order for my son's birthday this... past Saturday for pick up on Tuesday afternoon. When I arrived to pick up my $80 cake it looked like a 3rd grader wrote on itand you can barely make out the bottom line. "Happy" is written very large while everything else gets smaller. I am veryunhappy and feel like this was a complete ripoff. Also we basically wanted the apple pie al a mode cake with the caramelmidlayer (since you only get 4 mix ins) but the caramel is barely even there. The wait is long for the amount of staff working. We tried to order 4 simple ice creams and the worker could only make 2 before... she went to the back to ?clean? dishes. At this point 8 other people got their orders and we decided to cancel ours and left.Very dirty location outside and in. Read more

I give the ice cream a 5 stars. Out of 5 workers working only 2 employees wore a hat on there head. Even in the cooler weather ice cream is a must and we never miss the opportunity to visit this Cold Stone store when we are in... the area and sometimes we just go out of our way to be in the area???? I have visited other locations and have made this mypreferred store as it is always clean and the customer service is top notch. My family is always greeted with a warm welcome andeven if there is a long line the employees work briskly to complete orders. When there are new flavors or we can not decide whatflavor we have been provided the opportunity to taste new flavors or try a different flavor with out hesitation. Thank you forproviding my family with a clean safe environment in todays complicated situation to go and get a treat regularly. Tonight wedecided to grab some ice cream from our favorite place Cold Stone Altamonte and once again no disappointment !! The store wasbusy with a good line for a chilly night. There were seven employees behind the counter that were working quickly and moving theline at a more than reasonable pace. They were all polite and professional while completing our order. As pictured the employeeswere all properly gloved while preparing our ice cream request. Now I have to say the new flavor for the season of love is shownin the picture below. I decided to go outside my box and try it and I highly recommend it if you like chocolate coveredstrawberries. It was amazing and now I will have to make more visits before Feb 15th. My first time going into a cold stone in Orlando. The ice creation itself was great. I ordered the birthday cake remix and my... son had chocolate overload. My reasons i give this place 3 star rating is I think the cups are a little small for the price. Wehad "like it" which is a small cup at 6$each. So if you're taking the family out this might not be the place to go if you are ona budget. Second reason is appearance of the restaurant. Outside of the restaurant was only half the sign lit and there was alot of trash and cups by the door way. Not appealing at all especially since this location is in cranes roost. Lastly I tried tosign up for their rewards club but their system was down. Oh well.. definitely sign up for their rewards club for deals andspecials. Your first time sign up with give you a BOGO!
