We have been staying & eating here for over 33 yrs, the owners of the old Valley View in Afton told us to to eat here. Excellent... food every time we've eaten here, we're going to miss this place. Read more

First off I?m going to say, Glenna Butler and Angela Rogers, nobody cares about the things you complained about? you gave a bad... review of a fantastic restaurant over some petty stuff. Locally, nobody wants to eat around a big table of loud, obnoxioustourists, so, cry me a river that your large party wasn?t accommodated!! This place has incredible food, incredible ambience, and the stories they tell that span 50+ years of great customer service are unmatched?.. So, if a couple of Karen?s don?t likethat the rules aren?t bent for them, GOOD! Please stay away and go somewhere that caters to snotty, ignorant people! Read more

Great place to eat and drink, unfortunately this is their last season! They close forever on Oct 2, 2022.

Review relates only to Brenthoven's. Wonderful bar and great dining. Small bar with about 10 seats at the bar and maybe 3 small... tables. Great liquor selection and very skilled bartender pouring well made drinks. Great place for a cocktail before dinner. The dining room is also small seating maybe 20 at the most. Menu is not large with about 5 or 6 items but all are top shelf intaste and presentation. The pair of lamb shanks I had were perfectly prepared. My wife's trout was also excellent. Small winelist but covers the bases without being overpriced. I will be back! Looks like they will be closing for good in the fall of2022 so go while you can! Read more

Alright, so I stumbled upon this place and it was a blessing. You will not have a fridge or microwave in the room but you gain... the experience of a small town inn with rich history. The owners were very welcoming and the bar/restaurant had great food. Itis decently located by being a 30 min drive from Jackson. If you do go to Alpine, you have to try the local brewery. Read more
