3 weeks spent in Alpine, was awesome. The Tetons Mountains where just beautiful in autumn colors, and if your a star gazzer your... in for spectacular experience. The people were just friendly as could be, and the food at the Bull Moose Lodge was Yum Yum. Justto beware the town closes down early, so make sure you have what you need before 9 p.m, and the cost of food and necessaries aremuch higher than the big city I'm no doubt going to spend more time there next late spring/early summer. Dinner at the Bull Moose is exceptionally good. We were a party of four in the back room of the restaurant because there was an... entertainer in the front room and we wanted to talk. Our server was very friendly and efficient and our food was delicious. Weshared the short ribs nachos appetizer and then two of us had the Bangkok Salmon and one had the Alpine Salmon and all weredelicious. The dinner-sized Greek Salad was also very good. Wine was decent and reasonably priced by the glass (no wine list).And the entertainer was very good as well, and easy to talk over. We will be back! Read more
My wife and I stopped here for one night on a motorcycle trip. Check in was quick and easy. As soon as we arrived we decided to... get a beer at the saloon, the server was quick and very nice, we sat out on the patio to drink our brews, which was icy coldlocal brews, so refreshing! ?????????? Anyway we then ordered food, again quick friendly service! The burgers were enormous,juicy and delicious. ?????????? The room was pretty clean, it was definitely getting old and tired, but not too bad. Everythingworked as it should Although We did wish that there was a deadbolt on the door or at least a door chain.???????? The service andthe food made up for what the room lacked, still five star rating, and I would still recommend it to a friend. Read more
We stopped in the restaurant and waited quite some time to be seated and after seated eventually gave up on getting a server and... left for another restaurant. I understand help is hard to find and was told they only had 4 on staff however the otherrestaurant sat us right away and our food was out in a few minutes. The new management has some work to do at Bull Moose. Read more
I was not able to stay, because I was just there to order food. I?ll order the Greek salad. It was $18 and so I thought OK this... will be great! After waiting 35 minutes my salad finally came out and it was on a plate and I had told her I wanted it to gobut no big deal that?s fine. My salad was huge but the problem was is that was huge with lettuce and only three olives fivetomatoes and probably six or seven cucumbers! Yes it is very clean very organized and the bathrooms were excellent as far ascleanliness. But still doesn?t help my salad was sauce about to Lettuce! Never again!!! The prices are quite high but I dounderstand that we are in a recession. Read more
We had a great night at this place. The room was the cleanest room I ever seen. I think we were the first to use it. We had the... meatloaf dinner at the saloon. It was awesome. I loved everything about this place. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, they evenhave a liquor store for supplies. I would definitely recommend the Bull Moose & Saloon. Read more
To start we ask for a room big enough for our grandkids to put their blowup beds on the floor. With their twin size air beds... there was no room to move. For the price we paid for two nights the room was horrible. We seriously had a 28 inch TV. To closethe bathroom door you had to stand next to the toilet. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Friday morning I left thecard on the door for maid service, no maid service we emptied our own trash. Then the person that checked us in also doubled asthe bar tender. She was more interested in her bar business than helping me. She didn't code the key for a two night stay sowhen we got back we were locked out of our room. I would not recommend this place to my dog's worst enemy. NEVER AGAIN Read more
We really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. We switched to a dog room at the last... minute and they were very accommodating. We also ate at the restaurant and the food was really good. Overall it's a great bangfor your buck! Read more
