This was a great place to eat. My wife and I were just passing through town and wanted an elevated dining experience one night... and this place fit the bill. The food was delicious from entree to dessert. It has a nice atmosphere and our waitress was alsonice. I would recommend this place even if it is a little more in the expensive side of restaurants in Alpine. Read more

Great place. Good wine. Wonderful patio area. All the entrees were pretty good. Chicken in the poblano chicken was over cooked... and dried out. Still, the flavor was really good. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Read more

Delicious food with ample seating. Favorite place for border patrol agents. We enjoyed chopped steak and Spicewood salad.

Their chicken fried is with real steak, not ground beef. And the seafood was surprisingly outstanding. The beast restaurant in... the area by far! Read more

I love this place so much! We have made it a tradition to stop in for dinner before going to Terlingua. I had the salmon and it... was INCREDIBLE! It was recommended by a friend and they were right. My husband had the burger and we had the nachos as anappetizer. The half order is PLENTY. The whole order of nachos is a literal baking sheet of nachos. Great food, great serviceand priced for the gem that it is. Read more

Another great dinner at the SQC7. The brisket nachos are amazing and everyone we bring there agrees. Then the number one item... for your main course has to be the filet. It comes on a cast-iron skillet and a bed of sautéed onions and a slab of meltinggarlic butter as a cover. I like the side of fries that come crispy on the out side with a soft center and lightly salted. Allthe desert options are terrific, but I went with the crème brulée cheesecake, which is as delicious as it sounds. Enjoywhatever you get and enjoy the views from the enclosed patio area. Read more

Great Place. A little pricey, but if you want a Tenderloin steak that is melt in your mouth delicious, it's worth it. The New... York Strip is another great option. The loaded baked potato is the best compliment to all steaks. The nachos are outstanding andhave to add the smoked brisket to full appreciate this appetizer. For dessert, the lemon blueberry crumb cake can't be beat. They have a great wine list and the view is fantastic. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the real experience. Ifyou are in the area, make the trip and you won't be sorry. Enjoy! Read more
