Went here to eat. Red, the cook was smoking a blunt and told us ?you can not come inside, we are closed. We want to clean the... store right now and will be closed for 2 hours? obviously, this is not how a Waffle House should operate given that they do notclose ever. They kicked me and my friends out completely, saying they were closed even though they were not actually closed. Iwill never in my life go back to Waffle House after this experience. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door. I went there during dinner hours the last 2 evenings and they are only... allowing to go orders and do not seat anyone. Now it's 5:15am and the lady just yelled they're closed. Every Waffle House I havegone to at this hour seat people. What is wrong with this location? There's always 1 cook and 1 waitress. I typically always have a great experience at Waffle House. However, today was different. I ordered two All-Star breakfast. One... with bacon and one with sausage. I get home ready to enjoy my yummy food, but to my surprise no bacon no sausage. But thebiggest surprise was that I had no waffle! I have called several times with no answer. So unacceptable. Sharon and Mike are the best. She gave the rundown of best times to come. Between 1-3 pm is shift change that's when people have... been turned away also 9pm and 7am at those times avoid coming. Visited this location Christmas day. Because of CVID my hotel was not serving breakfast so decided to grab breakfast from the... waffle house. The meal was awful, Cold waffles, runny eggs when asked for scramble well, brown it. Half cooked bacon. The onlything I could have eaten with satisfaction was the hash browns. This experience was a failure. I found an open ihop, where Iended up having a better breakfast experience. Unfortunate, when I am in the south the waffle house is a must. I don't go to Waffle House as much as I use to, so I was surprised when my All American went from $10 to $16 because I wanted... grill chicken instead of bacon or sausage. Would have liked to have known prior to ordering on the increase amount of the orderby making this change and I probable would not have gotten any meat at all because the meal ended up costing me $21.00 withtip. Just think its very important to let the customers know the cost if they want to adjust the meal. Read more
