Yuck. Nothing ?uptown? about this place. The Greeter was friendly enough but made zero apologies for the destroyed bench seating... we were offered on both sides of the booth. Our server was polite but not the most attentive, spending most of her time loudlydescribing her personal life to an acquaintance seated 15 feet away from us. The menu seemed extensive but even after waiting 10or more minutes for our server to remember us, I still hadn?t been able to read all the options because of the 4 point, seriffont. (If you?re silly enough to venture into this joint take a magnifying glass and a flashlight. Oh, did I mention how dimlylit it is?) I was forced to order something simple; pancakes and eggs over easy. The pancakes were pancakes. The eggs were notover easy. The most enjoyable part of the visit was leaving. Read more

The food was fairly priced and delicious. There were so many items to choose from I had a hard time deciding. I will have to... return to enjoy more for sure! I ended up getting the San Andreas with a mimosa and a cinnamon bun (baked fresh). Read more

Service was very good and staff were very friendly. Food was only so-so and just not very interesting. I was grateful that they... had gluten free toast and GF cinnamon bread toast. Read more

Brunch here during the week was a decent experience. Service was good. Prices are affordable and the value is worth it. I wanted... French toast with chicken instead of chicken and waffles and they made it happen. The mimosas were a bit weak but they did havebottomless mimosas. Adding it to our list of brunch spots. Read more

Neighborhood hole in the wall. Don't judge by the outside appearance. Fresh tasting. Charleston Breakfast Tea was one offered at... breakfast and sold by the box. Apparently, they are the only tea farmer in the US. I'm a tea drinker and I had NO idea. Turkeybacon and sausage available. Read more

This might be my favorite restaurant. I know it doesn?t look like much from the outside but stay with me. Think of a dish that... you love, made by family, this place will top it. I?ve been a dozen times and almost always get the French toast platter andeverything is always cooked perfectly and is delicious! You can tell when a meal is made with love. Today I got the San AndreasBenedict and it was the best eggs Benedict I?ve ever had!! The hash-browns were so fresh and tasty. Their coffee is great, service is quick and food is to die for. It?s that perfect home cooked comfort meal you wish you could make yourself. It?sdefinitely a hidden gem. We always go for breakfast but I?m dying to try their dinner too. Read more

Harvest Benedict with poached eggs and hash browns was extremely tasteful. Hashbrowns were crunchy. The eggs were splendid. The... vegetables added a nice tingling taste to it all. Pancakes were unfortunately drier than I expected. Disappointed in those. Read more
