Overall good food with a friendly staff! Their shrimp and broccoli with brown sauce is delicious. Their scallion cakes were also... really good with nice pieces of scallions and perfectly crisped. I tried their tangerine chicken which had an amazingsweet/tangy sauce with tangerine peels and scallions, BUT the chicken itself was awful- too chewy and over cooked which made thechicken inedible- which is why I didn’t give them 5 stars. I ate the sauce with the rice and vegetables. Hopefully, that wasjust a one off moment (but I haven’t ordered the chicken since and wouldn’t recommend it) because the rest of the food thatI’ve tried has been SO GOOD!Overall, happy to have found this place in the neighborhood. Incredible! The sample appetizer was a great start and was very filling for the price. Then the house rice was cooked perfectly... and had generous amounts of each meat. The presentation and customer service were outstanding! Read more
Poor communication with customers while ordering. For example, I ordered Green tea which somehow translated to hot tea, which... ended up being cheap Lipton tea. I also had something white stuck on the inside of my water glass (picture included but blurry). I ordered Hunan chicken which is listed on the menu as a spicy dish but the food was not spicy. Also, there was a flavor inthe food that made it taste like pledge. I did not order it on this visit but this place does have some of the best GeneralTsao's chicken you can get in this area of town. This place is just so AMAZING! From the atmosphere, the people, and especially THE FOOD. Truly my favorite for a long time now....
