Oh man - Saturday night and waited exactly 10mins at front desk to be seated. No bar man, no wait staff - some kids all... chatting at the back but no one would seat us. We need, as customers for restaurants outside of Avalon and Halycon to step up, so sad to see what was a great restaurant no longer care. Read more

Had brunch with a few of my girlfriends. Initially the waiter was slow getting our orders but we got the food quickly. The owner... Jose came over to check on our table and asked why didn’t a few of us order drinks. We explained that the waiter said theywere out of mint for mojitos. He said he would be back w d sent someone to go purchase mint. He gave us mojitos on the house. Hewas very gracious for us patronizing his restaurant. Will definitely return. Great service and food! Love this place the food is excellent! Large menu with some great Margaritas. We had not visited in a long while and now that we... live in the area, we have anted to give it a try again. We arrived at 4:00p on a Friday afternoon. There was a couple at the barand another party of 5 on the patio where we chose to sit. Service was surprisingly slow. Our house waiter seemed to havedifficulty multi-tasking so as a few more tables filled it was difficult to e get another drink. I just decided not to orderanother drink because I was afraid of how long it might take to get it. Tilapia tacos were awesome! Perfectly, fried with alittle guy delicate crust. The Arrachera with skirt steak was just as it should be flavor and well cooked. The Spicy PineappleMargarita was perfect and not overly sweet. The Spicy Margarita was also good. They have multiple beers on tap, including DoesEquis Amber. The east facing patio is perfect because in the late afternoon it becomes shaded by the building. Since it has aperfect hangout patio, we will give it a try again in the not so distant future because the food is that good. Read more
Great atmosphere, super service from our waiter, and my cheese dip was awesome. I only gave 4 stars since some of the people I... was with did not find their food to be as seasoned as they'd had at other Mexican places. They may deserve a 5 star ratingsimply because we left another restaurant because of slow service and as far as service goes, we were taken care of right away.Check it out. We came in late. They had luve music on Thursday that was a nice touch. The bar tender had no idea how to make a drink such as... French 75 in a drinking glass ( you could also debate you should not order such drinks at a Mexican restaurant). We ordered aappetizer but it just didn't hit the spot for us. Tarahumata use to be the best Mexican restaurant back in 2007. For years they had excellent food, drinks, and service. Sadly,... they lost their way. I've gone twice in the past 2 months for lunch. The first time the waitress was so rude and seemedannoyed we were there. The food was marginal at best. We decided left surprised. Today, we arrive Saturday with a table of12 at noon. There wasnt anyone else here... The server was a bartender who tried her best was overwhelmed. Mistakes with thekitchen, kids meals, forgetting things, food cold. I sent my food back and extremely disappointed. This place lost its wayfor sure. This restaurant needs urgent quality control & Management needs to get more hands on... Starting with service,cooks, quality control, even the bathroom has leaks, no paper towels etc. Sadly, I'll never go back again. Read more
