Food and drinks were excellent. Had a steak and veg. Update: I had some words up about this place being a bit pricey. Went... again last night and had a completely different experience. Gentleman behind the bar was super cool I took his food suggestionsas well as his drink suggestions. Bit later when it was tip time asked my current bartender where he was and how could I tiphim. She said he doesn't take tips, he's the owner. Super great! The owner, cuz of course he was. Not only do I support theprice point because his suggestion was just that good, but he helped me solve a drawing conundrum on my phone with an app mywife and I use. We stopped in on a Friday night, the food was delicious, Especially that cranberry bread, one of the best breads I?ve ever had!... Everything we had was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Our server David was amazing, very knowledgeable & helpful when it cameto the menu. He took time to explain all the cheeses and cured meats. Holy Smokes!!! Finally we have a GREAT Italian restaurant in the neighborhood!!!! Everything was cooked perfectly. The... calamari was spot on, perfect temp, perfect fry, etc. melted in your mouth. The pasta and fish dishes full of great flavors andherbs and spices. We took the waiters recommendation on food and wine and were not disappointed. I recommend doing the same. Everything was pared perfectly. This place is amazing but there are limited tables causing LONG waits, but worth it. ThereforeI suggest using the call ahead seating, they don't do reservations. when we left over 15 people standing waiting for atable. Parking is horrible. The restaurant and neighboring business sharing the building are very popular and the builderbuilt the place at the min. parking requirement, horrible. What a phenomenal experience at a local restaurant! The atmosphere was so refreshing along with the charming southern... hospitality received from the staff. The food was a delectable treat to my pallet. I cannot rave on this place enough. You mustgo here & try it for yourself! Also, I had the honor of meeting the famous ?Rena? in person as we were leaving & she was asbeautiful & pleasant as her restaurant! Awesome! Absolutely wonderful location. Such a comforting area to sit outside, enjoy dinner, and walk around the cool spots that... surrounds this restaurant. Food was great. Everything was cooked and prepared wonderfully. Shrimp and grits were on the saltyside, I?m sure from the drippings from the bacon. Butterscotch creme brûlée was good, creamier than most, with a very richbutterscotch flavor. Ricotta cheesecake definitely tasted more like ricotta than cheesecake. Drinks were great.
