What happened to Mr.Taco? This used to be my go-to for (relatively authentic) Mexican food when I worked in Alpharetta. I went... back today - finally - after about 2 years. It went from a cozy if dated place to get good Mexican food, to a "modern" andboring (and cold) generic Mexican restaurant. The food lacked soul. The salsas were boring or hot instead of flavorful. And theservice was painfully slow. I hate to remove Mr Taco from my "in the office" lunch rotation, but it is gone. I won't be back. Read more

I've been coming here for years and the food is always excellent. Since their new remodel, the atmosphere is comfortable while... still delivering amazing service and top quality food. I always get the gorditas and they are wonderful! Read more

The Mr Taco on Northpoint at Old Milton has reopened after remodeling. This was my first chance to see the new changes. It was... more open and clean looking. Same good food. Service was fast and pleasant. I stopped in late Sunday afternoon and it was notcrowded. I got my order to go. My only problem was my food containers were stacked to high in a single bag and tipped over inthe car as soon as i backed out of the parking space. Partly my fault for not stabilizing the food tower better. Read more

Not a bad meal. Can be rather expensive for some items, but the food taste good. If they made their own corn tortillas and the... Aguas were made from scratch, the place could be a smashing hit. But a lot of places cut quality for cost... Read more

We ordered a burrito Supreme and a nachos Supreme, but we got 2 nachos Supreme in a messy way served, with spacy guacamole that... we did not ordered, cold served, really looks like they give us some order missed for somebody else. Was our dinner after areally hard working day. We ordered by phone for carry out. Once I noticed the order was wrong we called them to let them knowbut they were closing the restaurant. Very disappointed. Read more

This place is close to my house, and offered decent Mexican food when I wanted. Despite issues, the food was decent so I... continued to go multiple times. Until the experience I had this week. They made a mistake with their online menu, so it wasshocking to me when I got home and was a taco short. I called to discuss and had the phone handed to who I assume was themanager? As a manger in a customer facing role myself, this is not how you handle mistakes. I was told it was a typo, and theywere working on fixing the fact that their menu advertised 4 tacos, I expected 4 but it should only be 3. She didn?t offer asolution other than ?sorry?. No extra taco like I expected for THEIR mistake, no credit, just literally nothing but to tell mehow to order it next time. There won?t be a next time. That?s not how you do business. Taco Nest down the street is is for me. Read more

I did like the food. The waitresses were friendly and the bathrooms were for the most part clean. After ordering and having to... wait longer than my friend, which finished his meal as I was served mine, and others who ordered after me, I grew a littleimpatient. The tacos were lighly seasoned and soaked with grease and after adding a little salsa, I ate a cold taco. Also, it'sbasically tradition to have two corn tortillas to counter the breaking of the taco,, which mine did bust through the middle. Therice wasn't seasoned much either or at least it didn't have much of a taste to it, so I added salsa to it as well. The beanswere good, didn't taste like they came from a can. Read more
