Oh me, oh my! I just died and went to SUSHI HEAVEN!!! This place is hands down the very BEST SUSHI, IN GA!!! The sushi quality... is second to none! The sushi chefs are genius artisans, who work in tandem, to create phenomenal works of art!!! TRUST ME!!! TheSalmon Nigiri absolutely MOVED ME & changed my sushi-life!!! Decided to head to Alpharetta for a late Friday night dinner. Sushi sounded good and Lily got great reviews, so off we went! No... reservations, which I would recommend, but there were two seats at the bar, yay! We were quickly given a couple reallybeautiful and classy table settings. The cocktails looked so good and right up our alley, modern and not too sweet. I got theWhite Cloud..egg whites in drinks always intrigue me. My BF got the Sake Mojito. The bartender was so nice and fun to watch. Ourdrinks were outstanding! We ordered a couple of apps and a couple of rolls; the baby octopus, tuna tartare, the skinny roll, andthe fatty tuna roll (recommended by the bartender). The tuna tartare was a showstopper! So many different flavors on the platemade this simple dish a disco for the senses, visually as well: the thin sliced seaweed on top, the quail egg, a little spicysauce with sesame oil on the side, and of course the tuna, genius. It was a little difficult to share with chopsticks and weended asking for a fork. The baby octopus were good, too. The skinny roll was perfect, flavorful and I loved the ponzu saucewith it. The fatty tuna roll was not what I expected. I assumed it would be simple, whole cut fish, but I think it was slightlyground tuna in a light oil or mayo sauce. It was good, but not my usual taste. Overall, a really wonderful experience! The onlyreason I'm not giving 4 stars is, and I hate that I'm doing this, is because of the prices. I'm not one to be stingy and I'mnot looking for a giant plate of food, but it was a little more than I like to pay for what we got. We decided against winebecause the markup on the wines by the glass were a little crazy. $25/glass for the Prisoner. Dude. I came in on a Tuesday lunch, expecting it to be somewhat slow, but it was PACKED. I could only get a seat at the counter. I... ordered the chef special sashimi, with 15 pieces (seen in picture) for $27. I was originally a bit put off by the time it tookto get my food, but that completely disappeared when I saw it. Immaculate presentation, and the restaurant was packed too.Everything was absolutely delicious. Easily one of the 5 best sashimi I've had in North America, and I've traveled to Hawaii,CA, Vancouver, Washington, etc. Miso soup was only OK, water tasted like unfiltered tap. ???? Such a cute restaurant! Loved the vibe and decor. Of course the food is the most important aspect, everything excellent.... They have some lunch specials that are an excellent value along with delicious specialty rolls. ???? FAVORITE ROLL: KYOTO ROLL???? ???? My only suggestion is that servers focus on being friendly?its such a big aspect of southern culture to be nice. Tobe fair there was only 1 female server we interacted with that had a bit of an undertone of attitude or snark. I suspect she isexcellent at her job other than the customer service piece that can either heighten ???? or dull ???? the experience of eatingout. ?? It's the best sushi place I've ever been to. I've been here multiple times now, and every experience is wonderful. The drinks... are delicious, and the food is spot on. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. This is the kind of place you want to share withother sushi lovers. Everything comes out so delicately put together for your viewing and tasting pleasure. The staff are alwaysspot on, and my cups are always full, and my finished plates are removed. They are always polite and welcoming. All I can say is?WOW! Amazing service, food quality, presentation and atmosphere. Our server not only gave 110% with his... customer service, but made us laugh, brought all our orders out FAST and checked up on us multiple times to make sure we wereenjoying our food and if we needed anything else. Each bite and order kept getting better and better. To start their miso soupwas to die for!!! I and a friend ordered 2 of the signature himachi nigiri rolls and loved it so much we had to order 2more!! (Also try the lobster tempura appetizer because that first bite was unexplainable) The signature wagyu nigiri rollmelted in your mouth, had great flavor and was seared to perfection. Lots of sushi restaurants will give very thin and/or smallpieces of wagyu on their rolls but lily sushi bar gave a big piece so it truly was a bang for my buck and worth everypenny. The cherry blossom cocktail was not only pretty to look at but delicious! It didn?t taste strong or bitter. It wasrefreshing, sweet, a tad sour and I could barely taste the alcohol (though I did feel it lol). Would HIGHLY recommend stoppingin and trying this place out. The best sushi ever! I came in today with my friend and I got the snow crab miso soup which was delicious. I swear the first sip... cured my soul!! My friend and I shared the lobster tempura app. It was so crispy we loved it. We got two orders of the signatureyellowtail- OMG it was soooo good we ended up getting two more orders of it. It just melts in your mouth with amazing flavor-seriously everyone should try it. We also shared three orders of the wagyu beef nigiri obviously it was great! and an order ofthe spicy tuna crispy box. It was delicious my only complaint is that it could be more crispy ! My friend ordered the cherryblossom drink that i got a sip of - it was SO pretty! tasted sweet and sour and you can barley taste the alcohol because of itbut you could also tell there was a lot in it. I loved it. Our server was on point!! Very nice and was really quick getting usanything we needed and had a great personality. Also the bathrooms were so clean and nice which is a plus!
