What a nice addition to the Halcyon. Its an intimate, candle-lit, cozy environment. The Head Chef Olivia Hurst is very talented... and it shows!! The steaks were cooked perfectly and flavorful. So refreshing to find a place that is financially accessible yet observes the traditional yet often ignored wait staff decorum. ... The staff is respectful and well manered without being pretentious. Went here Saturday night with another couple and was very impressed. Great cocktails, great service, and great atmosphere. We... started with the 5 piece charcuterie board which was very good. Lots of choices here. We also got the Cornbread Oysters. Ifyou like fried oysters these hit home for sure. Very good. I had the Wagyu filet and the wife had the normal filet. Both werecooked to the correct temp and were very good. For the sides we shared the cream of spinach, asparagus, mashed pot, and pot augratin. All were very good and large portions. Plenty to share. We got the tiramisu cake which I'm not big on tiramisu but itwas really good. Would def come back. The head chef came over to check on us which was really nice. Our first time trying out this new neighborhood upscale restaurant. Bar service was a little slow, but the specialty cocktails... were amazing! Loved the Octopus appetizer and crabcakes! Enjoyed the atmosphere and food we will definitely be back. Read more
