The food was delicious! I got their amazing warmed baguette, with hummus that had olive and mushroom on top. I also had a hot... chocolate that was rich, creamy and it was really really good. For dessert, I had the raspberry chocolate mousse cake. It waslayered and soft and filling and made me feel connected to the space like I was in another world. The atmosphere was so warmand beautiful and I just kept looking around. It's like a visual treasure hunt! The vibe inside was very chill, calm, and cozy.The staff was very nice and the other diners were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as I was. I met Ms. Joy,who is the Regional Manager, which I think is a super cool job. Ms. Karen whose nickname is also Big Mama, was so nice!!! Shetook great care of me and my family while we were there, and had such great, big, positive energy. This place is lovely for brunch. It is still gorgeous and we just had the table right by the front door. The cafe intermezzo... coffee had almonds and was delicious. My friend got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which looked lovely. I had the avocadotoast. Although my eggs were kind of dry everything else was tasty. I would love to try this place again. Its a nice cozy and artsy place, good for going on dates. Outdoor seating is suitable for 2 peoples only. Feels a bit congested... when its full or during peak hours. We had to wait for around 30 mins so recommend to first go and reserve and then maybecheckout other stuff at Avalon or do your shopping to avoid waiting outside. We had Mediterranean veggie sandwich and salmonBenedict which was really good. Tiramisu cheesecake was delicious. The hot chocolate was not that good, it was very diluted andthin. Read more
This place gave me vibes like when I was in Paris. From the outdoor seating, to the artwork on the walls, to the smell of... delicious coffee. The ambiance was really nice. Initially it was a 45 min wait but was able to get a seat at the bar area rightaway. The waitress was very attentive and polite. Enjoyed the food. Had the spicy tortellini with salmon and the French toastwith bananas and pecans. I also liked they had classical music playing as well. Definitely will come back. Amazing. First time I think I had cake for an appetizer prior to breakfast. We sat next to the glass case of cakes and this... lemon cake I?m pretty sure was talking to me. Looks had nothing on the taste - moist, sweet and just overall heavenly. Breakfastwas absolutely the best and I just wasn?t ready. My new favorite brunch spot! Read more
