Authentic Kerala food in a nice, fresh space. The parota, sweet puttu, masala dosa, and uppam were all delicious. The food was... made quickly and the owner was friendly. No meat options but still recommended. Read more

Food is nice. Long queue all the time. Slow service but it's great taste wise.

> Senseless wait time > Unclean tables > Piled up waste dishes on dining tables Wish there was a negative rating. Had the worst... experience today at Aunty's kitchen. Inspite of us calling up the restaurant to check the dine in timings and wait time, theydidn't have any courtesy at all to inform us about the wait time beforehand! Took 1.5 HOURS for an order of steamed idlies! Iwonder if they just started to make the batter after we ordered! I mean, come on! This is wayyyy UNACCEPTABLE. It's strictly ONEORDER AT A TIME FOR THE WHOLE RESTAURANT and on a first come, first time basis. I understand this priority, but for a meagreorder of idlies (pre prepared hopefully) shouldn't take this much time. Let alone if they're going to steam them fresh, againshouldn't take this LOOOOONNNG ! I used to frequent this place couple months ago and most of the time, it was closed entirelyfor some reason or the other. This already brewed a bad reputation for this place and today's episode topped it all. Coming tothe food, it was hot and alright but in no way justifiable was the quantity of red chutney (it was literally the quantity ofpickle an average Indian eats - photo attached) Dear Aunty's kitchen, you definitely need to change your ways of working or youmight start to lose a customer by customer, just like you did today :) Read more

Small place but excellent food and service. It's an order and sit place with a very limited menu but everything on the menu... looks good. We tried 7 different items and all turned out to be great choices - though they fall a little bit on the heavy sidefor fats. Ghee for example in all dishes and they are proud to share the fact they prefer to use those. As for service, excellent. The food is out fast and presented very well. They seem to be cleaning the place frequently - so nothing to saythere Overall, a great experience (though a bit on the pricier side and these days extremely crowded) Read more

One of our most exciting local finds. Run by a husband and wife team. All food is cooked by the wife herself, and omg are they... delicious. We didn?t know where to start ordering but the owner was very kind to recommend. We ended up getting more food as wego because they?re just so good! I especially enjoyed puttu and parrota. India is such a diverse society with so many languagesand culture, and there are so many regional foods to explore! I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Be sure to askthe owner which ones he recommend and can?t be found elsewhere. If you go on Friday evening expect some wait time, but it?sWORTH IT! Read more

Looking for a restaurant that serves authentic South Indian snack items, then Aunty?s Kitchen in Alpharetta is the place to... go!???????? A small hole-in-the-wall restaurant owned by a husband and wife duo that serves South-Indian dishes like IdliSambhar, different types of dosas and chaat specials. Their Kerala Parotta with Egg Curry is a must order along with the filtercoffee. They have daily specials and on weekends they also serve Idiyappam and Appam Vegetable Stew. ? ? 1) Pani Puri 2) KeralaParotta with Egg Curry 3) Dabeli 4) Idli Sambhar 5) Masala Dosa 6) Button Idli Read more

First time visiting. Dabeli and Masala Puri are really good! Quite an authentic taste. Uncle is really friendly and helped us... decide on what we wanted to order. The place wasn't crowded but people dropped in and out constantly for dine-in and take-out.Also tried Kachori Chaat, which was good but we were expecting Mumbai-style and it wasn't. Ended on a high note with FilterCoffee ( if you don't want sugar, let them know while placing order). Thank you for the good food! Read more
