Food is nice. Long queue all the time. Slow service but it's great taste wise.

Inspite of us calling up the restaurant to check the dine in timings and wait time, theydidn't have any courtesy at all to inform us about the wait time beforehand! Took 1.5 HOURS for an order of steamed idlies! Iwonder if they just started to make the batter after we ordered! I mean, come on! This is wayyyy UNACCEPTABLE. It's strictly ONEORDER AT A TIME FOR THE WHOLE RESTAURANT and on a first come, first time basis. I understand this priority, but for a meagreorder of idlies (pre prepared hopefully) shouldn't take this much time. Let alone if they're going to steam them fresh, againshouldn't take this LOOOOONNNG ! I used to frequent this place couple months ago and most of the time, it was closed entirelyfor some reason or the other. This already brewed a bad reputation for this place and today's episode topped it all. Coming tothe food, it was hot and alright but in no way justifiable was the quantity of red chutney (it was literally the quantity ofpickle an average Indian eats - photo attached) Dear Aunty's kitchen, you definitely need to change your ways of working or youmight start to lose a customer by customer, just like you did today :) Read more
Small place but excellent food and service. It's an order and sit place with a very limited menu but everything on the menu... looks good. We tried 7 different items and all turned out to be great choices - though they fall a little bit on the heavy sidefor fats. Ghee for example in all dishes and they are proud to share the fact they prefer to use those. As for service,excellent. The food is out fast and presented very well. Very authentic, fresh and flavorful south Indian food. This also offers a few Chaat & parotta items. We tried beet root dosa,... masala dosa, egg curry & malabar paratha, vegetable korma with paratha along with pani poori. All the food was very good. Gotvery attentive service.
