We stopped by for a couple of beers on a Thursday around 7pm and they were packed. However, the staff was friendly and worked... well together to get everyone served. They have a great outside patio and beer garden with lots of seating. The beers werefantastic!! We also stopped by for lunch the next day when it wasn't so busy. The food was fantastic! Good beer and good food. We had the mushroom sandwich and the tri-tip sandwich with fries. Both were good. We will be returning... to try more beers. I have been to many micro breweries around the country and have found most to be very good. I would put thisone in the middle somewhere. It was a little pricey but worth the stop. Read more
We stopped in late at night just in time for a sandwich. So glad we made it in time! The staff was very welcoming and treated... us great. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and fries, it was a great sandwich, but being from Miami Florida it was not a typicalCuban. It was close in flavor and it was a really wonderful sandwich! I would definitely order another one when passingthrough this area. The fries were very tasty, fried perfectly. All in all it was a great meal for us! Read more
Excellent food and beer! Visited Austin Brothers Brewery during a Harvest Host stay and I must say that the food and beer are... amazing. Enjoyed the Jalapeno Jam Chicken Sandwich and a Cherry Bomb beer. Ordered a six pack of the beer to g because it wasthat good. If you are planning on going to the Alpena area be sure to schedule a stop here as you will not be disappointed. Read more
Amazing experience here; what a hidden gem! The beer was excellent with a nice variety of IPAs. As if that wasn?t good enough,... the food was exceptional as well. To top it off, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We?ll definitely be back the next timewe?re in Alpena! Read more
I stopped here during my M-23 tour and enjoyed a 4 beer 5 ounce non flight board flight an appetizer and a late dinner. The... beers were very good with my favorite being the Sumo Sumatra. My appetizer was the white fish dip that was huge and coulddefinitely feed 4 people. The assortment of crackers and breads that came with it was wonderful. My entree was the chickenbacon ranch sandwich with fries was excellent. Indoor/Outdoor bar and flattop seating. Log cabin/wood theme. Clean with verygood service. Wifi. Pre packaged beer along with souvenir glasses, shirts, etc. for sale. I took home a 4 pack of Sumatra. Iwould highly recommend if you?re in the area. Read more
