Reviews for Joe's Italian Kitchen in Almonte, ON
Best Italian restaurant I tried so far! Their pasta of the day was amazing. I didn’t expect that it could be so good. And even... for salads they were perfect. Desert was good too! I believe their foods on the menu should all be good. I wish I had time totry some more dishes on the menu. Read more
The First Time Trying This Place and I truly loved it. I tried the Pasta of the day which was Tagliatelle in a Rose Sauce with... Sausage, Mushrooms and Spinach. Served with Pinsa Bread, this meal had me wanting more and even ordering one to go for take out.The Pepporoni pizza was good and the Tiramasu was absolutely delicious. Next time I can stop by again I will try to make anotherreservation. Everything was truly delicious Read more
Recommend you make reservations in advance if you want to sit on the Terrace. Location is great along the Mississippi River and... the falls. Service and food was amazing. We all had different pizzas on the Pinsa pizza crust, which is light and fluffy, easyto digest and delicious. 5 Italian and local beers are offered on tap and there is a nice selection of wines. We've had a great experience at Joe's Italian Kitchen, the ambiance is fantastic. Extremely tasty pizzas and staff very cordial.... Didn't fully deserve the 5 stars because the pizzas took a little too long to arrive (roughly 30min from the time we ordered).Despite this minor inconvenience, it's a place I'll definitely go back to in the future. Very much recommended. Read more
As an Italian, I can guarantee the food is fantastic. The pizza crust has bubbles and is crunchy -- well done to the service... team as well. Can't wait to be back and visit. BTW, the waterfall view is spectacular. Read more
We were greeted well. But they say the patio was not available yet person right behind us got to be seated out there. If it is... on a first come first serve basis then we should have gotten it. The food met my expectations the prices were outrageous. Thetaste was good. I found that some of the people did not embrace diversity. Maybe they did not expect to see none whites in theirplace so of us felt contious of that. I may go back in a year. Read more
Lovely place, food was excellent however I gave it 3 stars because our meal was cut short when we suddenly got sandwiched... between new customers in the far end of the restaurant by the bar. Not even an arm’s length between us. Why? This was atlunchtime but the restaurant had plenty of room and lots of tables to maintain the social distances but it seemed they did notwant to follow this. For me at this time that is a no go. We asked for our bill and left. Read more
All of our food was delicious. Six people, six pizzas. Most pizzas were $18 - $23 each. To our surprise, only pizza was... available. Usually Italian restaurants have pizza, pasta, and other dishes available. The special of the day was a seafoodpasta for $34, but this was the only item available that was not pizza. We did enjoy all of our meals. Two crusts wereavailable: a regular pizza crust, and the pinsa crust. A special crust with the ingredients from Italy, and it requires sometype of certification. All desserts are made in-house. We had the tiramisu and the tartufo (raspberry and chocolate) which wereboth delicious. Great cozy atmosphere in a heritage building. Our waiter (Mike) was attentive, and fabulous. The restaurantbacks on to the water and falls, so we will return during patio season to enjoy eating outside. This would be spectacular in thesummertime for an outdoor eating experience. Read more
