Let me tell you something about hospitality, it's called "Catfish Hole"... If you happen to visit Alma Ar. Your visit isn't... complete without going here. It is absolutely the best there is... The food, the staff, the whole idea that they have aboutpeople n food is absolutely awesome! Please be there when I get back... My belly was smiling, and so was my family... We came in at the end of a rush. Our fries were soggy and cold and our fish wasn't the best I've had but the service was top... notch! We were so well taken care of and checked on. Our servers were sweet, kept our drinks full and brought lots ofhushpuppies (which were delicious!!) We will definitely be coming back from the service alone. Read more
We loved this place! My husband and I had regular combos which included up to three entrees, fries, coleslaw (for the table),... green tomato pickles, dill pickles, and hush puppies. He had the frog?s legs and catfish fillets, while I had the catfishfillets, fried shrimp, and clam strips. Our older kids had salmon, and boiled shrimp, while our youngest was able to eat freefrom the kids menu. He chose the chicken. All of the food we had tasted amazing! It was seasoned perfectly, with more thangenerous portions. We would have preferred a little less breading on the frog?s legs, but that was our only less than positivecomment. Very friendly wait staff, great prices for the food. This place gets super busy! I?d say the standouts for me were the hush... puppies! Very good! Wait staff was all friendly and pretty prompt considering the amount of diners in the building. So the bigone, is the catfish was good? Well, it is good, but not the best, and that?s ok! I left satisfied and felt the price more thanreasonable. I?d definitely not wait in line to eat here. But I got here early and there wasn?t a wait. First time here. For the price, very good service and high quality food. As a visitor from Florida their fish is limited to... catfish which is plentiful in this area. But many other tasty dishes available including steak. My friends had frog legs andcatfish combo's and I had clam strips and catfish.
